What a fantastic modern hotel only 20 minutes by car from Roi Et airport and close to Roi Et town centre using transport. ||||On site security attendant who sits in car park through the night, Entrance to the hotel has both stairs and ramped with good size double or twin rooms with TV and ensuite, unfortunately, no family room, however, the staff at reception ensured that our rooms were across the hall from each other.||||The Hop Inn is room only with self-service pre programmed machine between 06.00 and 10.00 and a chest freezer with microwave for (payable) quick meals.||||Hop Inn's are popping up all over Thailand and for 500 baht per room per night, it's FANTASTIC for passing through, being on business and or using Hop Inn as a base camp when touring...
Read moreI've never come across the Hop Inn chain before but I'm glad I have now. The hotel is clean, modern and well laid out with lots of parking. The rooms are great, they are well furnished, quite clean in the main and the showers are the best we came across on this trip. There's no fancy bits but you're not paying fancy prices either so there's no kettle and coffee etc. The receptionist was a bit grumpy, a smile wouldn't hurt but otherwise this is a great place to stay and I'll look for other hotels in this chain when i travel again. So why only 3 stars? Everything was great apart from the cleanliness, there was blood on the bathroom wall and the glass in the bathroom door wasn't very nice, a quick word in the cleaners ear should guarantee more...
Read moreThis was the first time I stayed at a Hop Inn chain hotel and was very impressed with it. Check in and out were both very quick and hassle free. There is a decent sized car park in front. The small kitchen in the lobby has some microwaveable meals, good for breakfast or if you find yourself a bit hungry. Small items like toothbrushes etc. are also conveniently for sale. The room was comfortable and clean. The bed was soft and I had a very good sleep in it. While the room has a fridge, a kettle and tea/coffee would have been a welcome feature.
