My favorite accommodation in Thailand & Laos so far, after 6 weeks of hostel hopping. The campsite is set in a rubber tree Grove directly across from a cave, a viewpoint and a 1 minute walk to the river where you can do bamboo rafting. I booked via Booking.com, thought I was getting a tent, but arrived to find they've upgraded to the cutest little bamboo A-frame huts! The huts are basic but cosy and comfortable with power, a light, a fan, mattress, pillows, blanket and mosquito net. Towels, soap, shampoo and tissues are provided. There are two basic toilet and shower blocks. Only cold water here but that wasn't a problem in the heat. There is an area with an electric kettle for hot drinks and noodles. Instant coffee is free. Sodas and noodles etc are available to purchase at the little hut in front of the cave. The cave is small but worth a look if you want to see bats. The family that run the campsite are super lovely. They offered assistance in transport, hiring a scooter, and offered fresh fruits. If you like to be amongst nature and wake to the sounds of birds this is a great place to be. It's about 15mins drive from the Dam where you can take a Cheow Lan Lake tour. I would definitely...
Read moreWe spent 2 nights here. The place is even much beautiful then how is looking in those pictures! We enjoyed all the campsite for ourself the first night, and we share it with other visitors the second one. We loved all the peaceful vibes, far from the crowded busy turistic place. It's really nice to visit the cave in front of the campground and you can have a swim or try some excursions like the bamboo rafting on the river. Owner is really kind and lovely. High recommended, I will come back...
