I gave a cleanliness rating of 3 due to pervasive cigarette smoke, despite booking a non-smoking room. The entire second floor smelled worse than a pub, and at night, the odor seeped into my room from neighboring guests. I had to wear a mask while sleeping, which I consider a health hazard. I couldn’t sleep well due to the smoke. Despite the hotel’s non-smoking policy and a 2000 baht fine, guests continued to smoke, which unfairly affects travelers seeking clean air. I provided feedback, but it seems little can be done to resolve the issue. Additionally, the thin doors amplified noise, making it disruptive at night, especially with mainland Chinese guests returning loudly to their rooms and talking loudly. These guests also inconsiderately left their doors ajar, setting off alarms. Even the sound of guests walking along the corridors was audible. There’s no security box. The fridge is big but noisy. On the plus side, overall vibes are actually quite cozy. I guess I cannot expect much from a budget hotel. Though we cannot choose the kind of “neighbor” guests, I hope the hotel management could raise a higher penalty like a 5000 baht? and really stick to their policy to fine these guests who bridge the law. Sadly, I will not choose this hotel for my next trip due to...
Read morePros: Spacious and clean room with comfy twin beds. Building have lift and reception is available 24/7. We had late check-in/check-out and it was a smooth process. Wifi is also good.
There was 1 staff who are fluent in English during our stay. Thankfully she was there when we requested for iron.
They have a small cafe connected to the hotel which you can request room service from.
Overall, it was an affordable and pleasant stay.
Cons (if I were to be picky): Location is far from train station, so need to commute by car. Not worth to go to the nearest train station as well as the nearest station is just as far as the touristy places. The bright side is that there's not much noise from surrounding area.
Family Mart and 7-Eleven is within walking distance but the 7-E was renovating when we stayed, which was a bummer.
Toilet in the room had trail of ants. Very weird as the ants were only near the sink counter. It didn't bother me much but it's something to note. Different room might be different tho.
Drinking bottles provided is limited by day. We requested for more bcos we saw on Agoda that drinking bottles are free but were told that only 2 bottles per day for 2 guests.
Despite the cons listed, our money...
Read moreFirst, I would like to share a very bad experience with AGODA that ruined our trust and confidence with them. We had booked through them for our 3 nights stay at Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel - one month in advance and it was really disappointing and inconvenient that upon reaching the hotel with all our bags already taken by the hotel staff, we found out from the reception that we dont have a booking with them. In short the AGODA team really marked an unforgettable experience with their poor coordination and very unsatisfactory service.||||On the other hand, all the Bahi Ajman Palace staffs are very commendable with their outstanding customer service. They had accomodated us in a way that all our frustrations and disappointments with AGODA turned into a wonderful and relaxing holiday. I will specifically mention the following staffs with a superb service - Mr. Showaib, Mr. Keith, Mr. Shivraj, Ms. Honey, Ms. Michelle & Team - my kids really enjoyed your face painting and the hous keeping team who made our room spakling clean.||||We thank you and hope to...
