The prices he charges and what he offers are very expensive. I booked a Bungalow which was a nightmare. Zero thermal and soundproofing. Humidity and cold came in from everywhere all night. There was no second blanket to cover yourself with. The air conditioning only has cold and not heat. We slept in our overalls and jackets. All night you could hear mice walking outside the bungalow. The ceilings were full of samian bugs that you said would fall on my head. My partner left and booked another room which was also unacceptable. We were forced to leave earlier than the days we had booked. The worst of all is that the area has no food shops at all, only street shops which are miserable, in the stench. To go eat in Udon Thani อุดรันที่ they asked us from the hotel 2000 baht just for the taxi. Advice do not stay here or in the surrounding area. All the hotels are very expensive for what they offer. As I said there is absolutely nothing to do here. You can come to see the lake and leave to stay...

I have to start this off by saying that we came here for Red Lotus Lake and the beauty, Bua Daeng Homestay was not our first choice but it became very evident that it was the right choice. And although we came for Red Lotus Lake my wife and I agree that we would come back even when the Lotus were not in bloom to enjoy the peace, tranquility, beauty, and wonderful hospitality of the owners. Had wonderful food to the list as well. I can't tell you how thoroughly impressed I am with this gem that sits basically in the middle of nowhere. If you want to get away from the city and the hustle and bustle this is definitely the right place to come to. I give my whole hearted five star rating to this absolutely...

Bua Daeng was an oasis of luxury for us. Everything was exceptionally clean and so much attention to small details. The meals were gorgeous, with lots of vegetables. Owners helpful and fluent in English. We were picked up from the train station and dropped off at the lake at 6am so we could be on the lake for the sunrise. They also booked a superb massage for us. Comfy bed, lots of places to sit quietly in the cool both inside or on the terraces. Pool pristinely clean and refreshing. |We were super impressed with how our needs were anticipated. Went for a swim and immediately a staff member turned up with fresh towels and put chairs and an umbrella up next to the pool for us.|Very...

We spent one night here (en route while cycling on a tandem through South East Asia) and loved absolutely everything about this place. The room was beautiful, immaculate, so comfortable and spotlessly clean. The lakes and all the surrounding garden areas are magical and the rooftop bar where we watched the most amazing sunset was stunning. The owners were very welcoming, friendly and helpful too. We ate lunch, dinner and breakfast the next morning - all delicious home cooked food 😋 I can't recommend this little piece of heaven highly enough and only wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality and we wish you every success with your beautiful luxury homestay.
