Hotel Aurore / Restaurant / Bar — Hotel in Lomé

We only stayed a night, because we came for a quick week end in Lome. We randomly found this hotel and I must say that it was a great pick.||The location is great (near the beach in town ). You can easily walk to the beach or to the main boulevard to get a taxi or a motorbike taxi. From the border to the hotel it should cost you 1200 FCFA. Just tell the driver you are going near the hotel de la paix.||The hotel itself is really nicely decorated in the common areas as well as in the bedroom although a bit oldish ( in the rooms) .There is a really great garden where you can hang out. The staff is caring and helpful. ||Our room was very neat and spacious. You can take an AC room ( 16 000 CFA) or a fan (12 000 ) room. They also have apartments.||We slept well and the the bathroom was agreeable.||Just ask them to spray your room before you get there though. There are a lot of mosquitoes in the area.||The food was so so. There is plenty food in town though so you wont have a problem to eat. Just go with the flow.||I would really recommend this hotel! I recently stayed at Hotel Aurore in Lomé, Togo, for 2 nights, and my experience was delightful. The room I stayed at was 20,000 CFA including tax, per night the hotel offers great value.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The hotel is beautifully decorated, has some soul and life to it, there are lots of African and cultural decor and it also has a charming garden area that provides a peaceful retreat. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.

The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any needs. The overall service was commendable, they was a receptionist that could understand some basic English so it made the stay even more enjoyable.

The location is also convenient, making it easy to explore the city.
