Terrific accommodation.

Staff are very responsive to messages about organizing airport transfers which is a rarity in these parts. They are really kind and helpful too. Lani, at reception, goes above and beyond to help you. Even tracking down details of elusive ferries to remote islands.

Rooms are spacious and very clean and new. Mattress comfortable; fast free WIFI; and they will soon get Netflix and cable.

Bathrooms are delightful. Spacious, super clean, well maintained new fixtures; good water pressure; hot water.

Good hot breakfast and cereal with fruit served. There’s a decent Indian restaurant across the road and several supermarkets less than five minutes walk.

Housekeeping comes daily and is excellent. Loads of clean towels and hairdryer provided. Minibar filled with soft drinks (chargeable) but water is free.

They can advise on Fia Fia (which include fire dancing); tours and reliable whale swimming operators. Squeaky clean same day laundry service.

I had tried to get in at the Tanoa International Hotel but it was full due to a rugby game. So glad I ended up here as other guests that tried both properties want to come back here….
