Club Med Djerba — Hotel in Djerba Island

The Mini Club GOs are AMAZING! We have never trusted anyone to look after our children other than family or GOs and Club Med Djerba did not disappoint. |Our 2 daughters (4 & 6) were safe, cared for, and entertained for 12 days and nights. Special thanks go to Emre, Cacahuète, Wissal, Victoria, Islem, Ines, Yuna, Abdou, Abir, Julien, Nedra & Élise. We chose Club Med years ago for the quality of care for our children and we have stayed loyal to the brand because of it too.||I will say that the prices of Club Med holidays have become so high that we very nearly chose another brand this year, but the childcare was the deciding factor to stay. We have visited Club Med Palmiye for our last 3 summer holidays, but the price there was crazy high this year, so we had to choose a cheaper resort. I could feel the difference between a 4 and 3 trident resort in terms of facilities and quality (eg: the cocktails were rather synthetic tasting). If the prices continue to rise next year, I doubt we will be able to choose Club Med again.||As with every Club Med, there is always a great choice of food available. When I compare it with Palmiye, the choice is much smaller (fewer restaurants and smaller buffet in the main restaurant) but I guess that comes with a smaller resort and 3 trident rating; I just expected a bit more for my money. Again here, it is the people who make the difference. The restaurant staff are attentive but not in your face. The food is all safe and you can eat as much or as little as you wish. ||The sports selection is OK. I love sailing and enjoyed it as much as ever. Of course, you can sail as often as you wish, with no extra charge. Sea kayaks & SUP boards are also available, but are not my cup of tea. There are also plenty of other sports available like tennis, padel, petanque, ping pong, mini-golf etc. Our kids did loads of these as part of the mini club, but I was looking for a more relaxed trip so didn't do them. ||I did spend some time on the beach, even if sunbathing isn't my thing. There are lots of sun loungers available. Many of the ones in the shade are inevitably 'reserved' by selfish individuals first thing in the morning. Most of these 'reserved' loungers then sit empty all day with nothing more than a towel on them. That's just people being people I guess. It didn't bother me, but I know some people would get annoyed if they couldn't get their favourite spot.....||All in all, a fantastic break, if...

✨ Review – Club Med Djerba La Douce ✨||Coming all the way from Panama and with a background in hospitality studies, I truly appreciate the effort, dedication, and professionalism it takes to create a great guest experience. At Club Med Djerba La Douce, I was honestly amazed.|Even though I don’t speak French, the entire team went out of their way to communicate with me in English and even Spanish, which I truly appreciated—it made me feel even more welcome.||From the very beginning, the hospitality under Ouss, the Chief of Village, was outstanding. His leadership shines through everywhere in the resort—welcoming, professional, fun, and truly committed to perfection.||My room was always spotless thanks to a wonderful cleaning lady who was not only detail-oriented but also so sweet and caring. I didn’t get her name but I was in darbouka 8. Would love if you could give her this feedback. ||At the bar, Sedki, Jad, and Kim deserve a big shout-out. Always welcoming with smiles, great service, drinks, and fun jokes—they made every visit to the bar a highlight of my day.||For activities, I can’t forget Hamza at aqua gym, whose energy and humor turned every session into pure fun. And Lucy (Loulou), who led fitness classes with so much dedication and positivity—always smiling, always motivating.||The Crazy Signs every day brought so much life and joy—good energy, dances, laughter, and unforgettable fun moments. On top of that, I met so many cool and kind people, which made the experience even richer.||Something that really struck me was how hard the whole team works. They put in such long hours, but always with positivity, professionalism, and genuine kindness.||⭐️ To anyone considering Club Med Djerba: go!
