Hidden down a quiet road in northern Hammamet, surrounded by cactus and countryside, this Maison d’Hôte feels like a secret escape. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The house itself is a striking white building that appears almost out of nowhere — peaceful, elegant, and totally unexpected.

We were warmly welcomed by Douda and her mother, the lovely owners, along with a glass of fresh lemonade. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and you feel instantly at home.

Our suite was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed — blending traditional charm with modern touches. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom felt like a private spa.

Breakfast was generous and delicious: fresh seasonal fruit, mlewi (a traditional Tunisian bread), eggs, cheese, and more. We spent the morning by the pool, which was clean, quiet, and a great place to unwind or chat with the few other guests staying there.

I honestly debated whether or not to share this review — it’s the kind of place you want to keep to yourself. But it’s too special not to recommend. Romantic, peaceful, and beautifully run — a true hidden gem...

Amazing experience from every point of view. A beautiful place, thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail — quiet, relaxing, and made even more special by the warm welcome from the owner and her children. The location is very convenient, just a few minutes' drive from Hammamet, yet it feels like a peaceful paradise surrounded by greenery.

We especially appreciated the swimming pool, but above all, the magnificent breakfast served on a terrace surrounded by lush nature.

We experienced appalling behaviour from the owner. We contacted her to ask for a wedding cost breakdown at this – seemingly beautiful – venue. However, she was unable to explain to my fiancé what was included in the price she quoted. Instead of communicating properly, she hung up on him and blocked me on WhatsApp without any reason.
