We stayed at this hotel after spending two days in the desert, and it was a nice place to relax and recharge. The location worked well for us, giving us a break from our travels without being too far from the action.||The staff here really stood out. They were super friendly and always ready to help, which made our stay more enjoyable. We also tried out the spa during our stay, and it was a great experience. The staff there were just as friendly as the rest of the hotel, and they clearly knew what they were doing. The treatments helped us unwind after our time in the desert.||Another cool thing about this hotel was that they offered some fun activities. We were able to book a quad bike ride and a dromedary (camel) trek through the hotel. It was convenient to have these options available without having to search for tour companies on our own.||Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The hotel isn't perfect, but the friendly staff, nice spa, and activity options made up for any small issues. If you're looking for a place to stay in this area, it's worth...

Charming looks with that Arab post-classic design. It has the looks of what might have been a great hotel around 1970’s to the late 90’s, But it’s dated and things hardly work… you can clearly see the lack of investment on newer facilities. The cleanliness it’s ok but… I don’t think we can say “it’s Tunisia”… when you have 4* and it’s an international rate, if you wanna do the talk you must walk the…Some staff is very kind others like the receptionists are not the most friendly and not the most helpful… in fact very entitled…The food although was tasty the diversity was not there and as everything else very very dated…. Poorly structured Buffets were they don’t even bother removing the plastics wrappings Overall was mediocre experience with some disappointing dialogues from some of the staff, dated and for the experience clearly expensive having all that in consideration and personally I would not comeback.Nevertheless I have to admit that some of the staff was nice enough for me to come out without a totally negative feeling from...

If you're looking for a quiet and beautiful hotel, El Mouradi Douz is the perfect choice for you. The hotel features a spacious and refreshing swimming pool that remains open until midnight. During our stay, there were not many visitors, so the pool was quite empty. There is no specific children's program at the hotel, and loud music is not a part of the atmosphere. The internet is fast, although it only functions in the reception area. The reception area is spacious and nice, and it features a billiard table. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The hotel offers a daily menu three times a day, although we did not try it as you can order food to the hotel from outside. The room was very comfortable and equipped with modern air conditioning. However, it was a bit dark and the television channels did not work. The hotel seems a bit left, which is evident from the tiles at the edge of the pool. But if I were to visit this city again, I would stay...

We stayed here one night on our Gate 1 Travel tour of Tunisia. While the decor in the room is dated and the bed looks saggy, it was actually very comfy and I slept well. We always had complimentary bottle water in our rooms at the Tunisian hotels we stayed in on this trip, so it wasn't an issue that the water wasn't potable. The only real issue was the TV didn't work well as the cable connection was loose and could not be tightened, but not a huge deal since we had a busy schedule I really just used the TV for noise while getting ready for bed and getting up the morning. Some of us booked a sunrise camel ride nearby for the next morning (on our own since our tour company cancelled theirs) and it was fabulous - not sure which company as one of the others on the trip booked it but when I find out I will update here!

Nice hotel with a beautiful and huge outside pool. Rooms are spacious and shower has good pressure. But they need to improve cleaning between guests because we find hair inside the tub and garbage in one nightstand. Also they urgently need to upgrade their pillows and mattress! Douz is a small town, so you are close to all main roads connecting the main attraction. We got the Half board which includes breakfast and diner. There were plenty of option on both. Food was tasty and fresh. During breakfast there was an omelete station and during dinner there was a grill station with different options every night. Only complain is that they don’t give you free water. Overall I highly recommend for the cost-benefit.
