The hotel's location is good, not far from the town centre and the rooms are spacious and pleasant enough but it was absolutely freezing cold the night that we stayed there. Bearing in mind that we were charged and paid high seasons prices and despite our complaints about how cold the room was they were not prepared to turn the heating on. There were large radiators in each room but it seems with only us and perhaps one other room occupied the management of the hotel obviously did not feel that this justified having the heating on, it shouldn't matter if there is one guest or maximum capacity when its that cold the hotel should provide some form for heating, especially when you are paying high season prices. We had originally planned to stay there two nights but having been chilled to the bone and then no hot water we changed our minds and moved on. We ate there in the evening and that was ok, the breakfast was disappointing, nothing warm, not even an egg, just bread and jam. It was a shame as it was ideally located and quite a nice little place but I wouldn't stay ...
Read moreI have stayed at Les Pins now twice. The hotel is well located on the main street in Ain Draham and is built like an alpine chalet. The rooms are basic. The beds are comfortable with extra blankets available. Each room has a balcony with good view over Ain Draham at the rear or the street at the front. The bathrooms are somewhat basic and need improvement. The hotel is being gradually upgraded. Ouael, the young manager, is a very helpful and pleasant. The evening meal at the hotel is first class, using fresh local ingredients. Given its price it is very good value for money. With some more upgrading it will be even better. Ain Draham is a most interesting town, with an old French quarter used by the military in colonial times. The surrounding mountains and forest are fantastic places for hiking. Ouael can assist in providing guided hikes in...
