Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Istanbul Asia Airport — Hotel in Çayırova

The hotel, rooms and even the fitness and pool is awesome and seriously good. Airconditioning is way too poor. I can’t sleep when it is too hot. I called the reception during this heated room. The guy working there didn’t care. There was no soap in the room and he is asking me to take it from the lobby. I can see people are doing their best. But.. this hotel needs a recovery from airconditioning and adding extra workers for room service. Those points I am mentioning are a seriously points which makes a hotel a 5 star or by not renewing losing the stars.

Even the last day when I was showering. I felt a smell from the water and I knew something was wrong. However after making a quick shower and brushing my teeth by adding water in my cup in the bathroom I saw the water having a colour and having a scent. Come on guys, this hotel need to renew the equipments. You can’t use those equipments forever.

Besides this, hotel is fancy, good rooms, nice bed. Nice fitness area very good. Clean rooms, I mean all ok. Unfortunately bad airconditioning makes it all worse. What can you do if you can’t sleep because of the hot...

Ramada Istanbul Asia Airport hotel in Sekerpinar is a fantastic Hotel considering his location in an industrial area. I have been in several hotels around the area due to different work travels, but this is definitly so far the best.||With new airport road and third bridge I reach the hotel in less than an hour, and it's also very close to Sabiha Gokcen (maybe 15 minutes max) . ||The reception staff were great, as in fact were all the staff at the Hotel. They gave me a room on the 7th floor, with open view , but I think all the rooms are similar, very lightful. ||Room was kind of big, more than the average hotels around according to my experience. And in the basement of the hotel they have a huge and complete gym, great for working out aftewrwork, and a very clean (very important in Turkey) and well designed Spa. ||I had the best of service at the bar after the dinner thanks in part to our friendly waiter who was excellent. ||All in all I had a wonderful stay at Ramada Sekerpinar Istanbul Asia Airport and I would totally recommend it anyone coming to Gebze and Tuzla...

For a cheap hotel I would give 4 stars, for this price only two is appropriate. The staff are mostly friendly, hardworking and give their best but they lack training in hospitality related customer service . The breakfast is aweful, bread hard as stone, no fresh ingredients, small variety. The door of the room only closed when lifted very hard manually. Our keycards got wiped twice so we had to go to reception to ask to reactivate them. Some facilities like hallway lights are broken, elevators dirty.

Positive things: The room was very clean and the cleaning staff was very friendly. Eventhough being served in small portions the dinner was delicious and affordable. When having a problem regarding check in (we were not informed about the early check in fee during a call to the hotel) the reception staff handled it politely and professionally and the management showed good will.
