During our recent one-night stay at Kosa Otel, we found it to be an okay experience, considering it is a 3-star hotel. While there were no major issues, a few aspects left us feeling slightly disappointed.
Firstly, the room itself was decent, but there were a couple of concerns. There was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom of room number 331, which wasn't very pleasant. Additionally, there was a noticeable wood smell inside the room, which made the ambiance less enjoyable.
The balcony garden had potential to be a relaxing spot, but unfortunately, it had a bad smell due to the presence of numerous chickens nearby. This odor was quite off-putting, making it less inviting to spend time outside.
One aspect that particularly bothered us was the absence of a bellboy at the reception during check-in. All guests, including my wife, had to carry their own bags, and even the children helped out. In many cultures, it is customary for the staff, especially if they notice a lady carrying a heavy bag, to offer assistance. This lack of support left us feeling a bit disappointed, as it seemed like a simple gesture that could have made a difference in our overall experience.
On the positive side, we must acknowledge that the hotel deserved its 3-star rating as there were no major issues that significantly impacted our stay. The staff at the reception were polite, if not particularly proactive, and the check-in process itself was smooth.
In conclusion, our stay at Kosa Otel was average, but it left us with the feeling that it lacked the extra touch to make it a memorable experience. Addressing the room and garden odors, and considering providing assistance during check-in, especially for guests with heavy bags, could greatly enhance the overall guest experience. While it was suitable for a short stay, we may explore other options for our next visit...
Read moreNot the best location since it was some distance away from the main Marina but what it lacked for in convenience it more than made up for the nearness to a beach that is very empty.
This was the last stop before we went back to Istanbul and we are happy we came to Cesme.
The only regret was that we werent told about the charges that would be applicable in ordering extra coffee during breakfast. They charged us TL 120 for 2 cups of coffee.
Please note that breakfast was already included in our booking.
But apart from that the Bungalow was nice and spacious.
The beach is just a 4 min walk and the sunsets here are just magical. Another good thing are the kitties that are here and provide free entertainment during every breakfast.
They should inform customers about the costs though considering this hotel is already not the best value for money...
Read moreI had an amazing stay at Kosa Otel. I still can't believe this is a 3 Stars hotel only. I had better service at Kosa otel than some 4 or even 5 Stars hotels I stayed in. the breakfast was yummy, the staff were very friendly and helpful and done their best to communicate with me in English. in some other hotels or countries, the staff didn't even bother. The room was very clean and had a nice view pool side. You will need to walk 30 minutes to reach Cesme Marina and Cesme castle. Of course you can ask at the reception to call you a cab (less than 10 minutes ride until Cesme Marina or Cesma Castle) but I always choose to walk as I love walking along the beach and enjoy the stunning view. To sum up, this the BEST VALUE FOR MONEY you can find in Cesme. Keep in mind this a 3 Stars hotel and keep your...
