Ontur Otel — Hotel in Çeşme

I’m currently staying at the hotel with a couple of my friends. I purchased my room a few days BEFORE my friends, and we both purchased a superior full ocean view with a balcony. When we arrived at the hotel they told us that my friends room was available however mine was not, but they would call me when it was, and I waited in my friends room. Their room was gorgeous…a huge patio on a corner with a full ocean view, king bed, very clean, desk and other dresser tops for luggage etc, full mirror.|They never called me regarding my room and finally at 3 PM. I went down as we were leaving for shopping and asked them and they told me it was ready. They gave me one key..|I open the door to the room and immediately hear screaming to notice that it is over the kids pool. I had a 2 feet wide “balcony” almost like a Juliet balcony. whereas my friends have a balcony almost the size of the actual room, a queen bed or a double (not sure) no place to put my luggage except inside the closet.|The bathroom had mold. In the shower corner, around the corners of the bathroom itself, and either the rust or mold on the showerhead. The air conditioner doesn’t particularly cool the room down all the way as the exhaust and the air conditioner is in one corner of the room that’s near the door.||I went downstairs and complained that the clearly that this did not seem to be the same hotel class. They briefly mentioned to my friend who is Turkish that they provided the larger room to my friend because they are two people. Considering I’m paying full price for the two person room perhaps their logic is an error as effectively I am paying double as a single person to what my friends are paying as they are sharing a room and I am paying for the entire room myself.|Upon reporting my displeasure, they only offered a room that they admitted was even worse than the room they suggested initially, they did not offer me any sort of reduction on the room price. I can’t open the balcony because of the screaming children and I will be woken up tomorrow morning by the screaming. It is not a balcony that you can actually sit on and lounge, as you can on my friends. It seems strange to me that they would actually have me wait in my friends room and see their room and then try to put me in a room such as this… it’s simply poor customer service. I have to say I have literally never written a negative review about a hotel or restaurant etc before. I am a frequent traveler. It was shocking and...

This was my second time staying at this hotel for my birthday, returning due to a fantastic experience last time. Overall, my stay was enjoyable, but there are a few areas where the hotel could improve.||The staff, as always, were friendly and incredibly helpful. They made the experience feel warm and welcoming. However, the hotel itself is beginning to show its age. It’s clear that some parts of the property could use renovation to keep up with modern standards.||One of the highlights of this hotel is its beach—easily the nicest in the Çeşme area. The water is crystal clear, and swimming amongst the many fish was such a joy. It’s a perfect spot for anyone who loves the sea, and I had a great time swimming there.||The food at the hotel is consistently high-quality. The restaurant staff were exceptional, especially Mr. Malik, who surprised us with complimentary Turkish chai, Mr. Urçun (or Mr. Smile as I like to call him), and the lovely Miss Zehra. Their friendly service made each meal feel special.||Another standout feature is the hotel's thermal pool and spa. I loved the large, beautiful Turkish bath, which was calming and luxurious. For my birthday, I treated myself to a traditional Turkish hammam with kese and foam—it was the most relaxing experience I’ve ever had, especially when they covered me with the foam. The spa staff were kind and professional, making it a truly memorable experience. Unfortunately, some parts of the spa, like the steam sauna, were out of order, which was disappointing. But the disinfectant pool was a unique and cool feature.||Evenings at the hotel were made extra special with a singer who performed during dinner. Their beautiful voice added a magical touch to each night. For my birthday, my mom surprised me with a delicious cake, and the staff went the extra mile by playing the happy birthday song and gifting me a special cocktail. It made for the best birthday celebration I’ve ever had!||Overall, while the hotel could benefit from some renovations, my experience was still amazing. I hope they update the property soon, as I’d love to return next summer for another birthday...

It was a terrible vacation of 3 days. Most of the staff are unecperienced or intern. Actually you have to order one single drink couple of times or at the end you have to go and get it. They even can tell you that they have no tea or coffee and it is out of order. How come this is possible. We booked for all-included plus. However all the time we had to explain the stuff that they can not charge from us cuz our deal is not room and breakfast. All the time we had to show them our white bands that they gave us from the reception yet they were not convinced and ask the reception. God it took so much time to confirm that we are all included and do not pay for many things that we order. Nobody in the hotel knows how to act towards guests. They are all unexperienced. In my opinion the management of the hotel is wasting this complex with their unbelievable bad management skills. I payed for all included plus but I felt like I am unwanted there. Room service is really bad, nobody answer the phone. Beach is OK but they asked for our room number when we tried to order something. We had to go to one 8f the market next to hotel to buy water cuz they tried to charge from us. I will never go there and do not recommend anyone to get there. You will loose money and your nerves if you choose to stay here. On the other hand food was OK. Weather was OK, sun and sea was OK. Except those nothing was OK but trouble all the time. God help all guests who is planning to stay there. It is not cheap yet it has a bad service, unexperienced...
