Sato Hotel — Hotel in Şile

If you are looking for a cheap old and dark hotel with a tiny bathroom, no elevator and a SPECTACULAR view, this is it.

The bathroom and bedsheets were clean but the floors are not so clean, the water does not get very hot and most of the bathrooms do not have a shower cabin. Just an open space for the shower and toilet.

We asked for a change of room and were willing to pay more for a better room and received the same kind of room but with a shower cabin in it. The toilet is right next to the sink so it is not a comfortable sit.

We booked for 2 nights but booked another hotel after one night and just checked out without a refund.

A Hidden Gem in Şile – Highly Recommended! I had a wonderful stay at Sato Hotel Şile. The location is perfect — just a short walk from the beach and the town center, yet peaceful enough for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were clean, cozy, and tastefully decorated, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, featuring local flavors that made each morning a treat.

Otelin konumu ve manzarası inanılmaz güzel. Şile feneri sağınızda ve gece olduğunda harika görünüyor. Orada zipline yapabilirsiniz ve hemen aşağıda kültür parkı bulunuyor orada güzel vakit geçirebilirsiniz. Deniz manzaralı bir odada konakladık yaklaşık 2 hafta önce ve fiyatı, sezon başlamadığı için de olabilir, gayet uygundu. Oda mükemmel mi, hayır değil. Açıkçası banyosu eski ama temizlik açısından bir sorun görmedim. Odada da çok konaklamadık zaten, gezmeye ve eğlenmeye gelmiştik o yüzden beklentilerimizi gayet karşıladı. Kahvaltı maalesef beklentilerimizi karşılamadı, sitesinde açık büfe yazıyor ama tabak kahvaltıydı. Sanırım otelde kimse yoktu o yüzden daha açık büfe açılmamıştı, ama ne olursa olsun o müşterinin tekrar gelmesini istiyorsanız bence kahvaltı güzel olmalı. Mutfağın hijyen açısından temiz olduğuna pek inanmıyorum açıkçası, resepsiyondaki hanımefendiye kahvaltı yapacağımızı söyleyince içeride birine seslendi ve o hanımefendi de restoranda oturduğu yerden kalkıp mutfağa gitti. Kimsenin hayatını nasıl yaşayacağı bana düşmez ama yemeğimi hazırlıyorsa yorum yapabilirim. Mutfaktaki bayan yeni uyanmış gibiydi, saçlarını gelişigüzel topuz yapmıştı ve pijamalıydı, ayağında da terlik vardı. O şekilde mutfağa gitti ve kahvaltı tabağı hazırladı. Salam, haşlanmış yumurta, salatalık, domates (çok özenle kesildiği söylenemez), bal, teremyağ ve ekmek vardı. Hazırlayıp önümüze getirdi. Yine aynı kıyafetle vs. Yani 'Kahvaltı dahil' dendiğinde bunu beklemediğimiz kesin. Açıkçası ben yiyemedim. Gıda denetlemesi gelse ve kadını o halde görse başları büyük belaya girerdi eminim. Üstü açık terlik, iş kıyafeti yok, bone yok, eldiven yok. Bu konuda daha fazla yorum yapmak istemiyorum. Bir daha gelirim buraya çünkü gece sadece uyumak için güzel ve uygun bir yer, manzarası da cabası. Ama kahvaltı vs....
