Elies Glamping — Hotel in Ayvalık

Me and my teenage son stayed at one of the tiny houses at Elies Glamping for 6 nights, earlier this month (Aug 2023)

The site is situated amongst endless olive trees, about a 7-8 minute drive from 81 Kite Club, one of the best places to kitesurf in Turkey, 10-12 minutes from Ayvalik and about 15 minutes from Cunda Island, not to mention half an hour from Edremit airport.

The tiny house was immaculately clean, the beds were comfortable - I slept like a baby -, a very practical kitchen, powerful A/C and a full-size bathroom! The deck in front is sizable and the roof terrace has a pair of sunbeds and phenomenal views of the sea and the olive groves. At night, it's peaceful and quiet with a beautiful night sky.

This beautiful place opened earlier this summer and is owned and operated by a delightful couple, Bülent and Esma. Early risers like myself, I've thoroughly enjoyed our morning chats over coffee. The food was so good, i think we only ate out elsewhere twice the whole week. I would particularly recommend the schnitzel, the chicken nuggets, the içli köfte, the spaghetti bolognese - all cooked by the talented Esma. Bülent's smoothies are also delicious.

I will be staying there again, hopefully next month, in fact.

We stayed at Elies tiny glamping after a month on the road around Turkey - I can honestly say this was the best place that we stayed. 6 tiny houses and 4 glamping tents in perfect condition, all brand new. The tiny house was not-so-tiny inside and was well catered for. It even had a rooftop lounge area to sit and relax and take in views of the sea.

Service was excellent and super friendly - Esma and Bülent were very welcoming and could not do enough for us - they had great recommendations for where to eat in the local area and put on a fanstastic breakfast in the morning. I'm excited to see their journey, with planned expansions over the next few months.

If you are considering staying anywhere near Cunda or Ayvalik just book this place without hesitation - you will not be...

What an amazing place! An incredible family running an extraordinary tiny house and glamping experience. The tiny house was immaculate, very clean and had everything you could need. Each has 2x very comfy double beds, full bathroom and my favourite part - an incredible private roof balcony with perfect views for sunset.

Breakfast was also incredible - everything fresh and home made. The best I've found in Turkey.
