Kapri Konak Hotel — Hotel in Ayvalık

There are ONE good news and a lot of bad ones. Which one would you like to hear first? Let's start with the only positive one, the swimming pool. It is refreshing averagely clean (the water of course) and for the hot days of summer is really nice and relaxing. The dirty stuff all around can also be neglected. The staff is also so lovely that they keep offering you drinks and beverages while you are enjoying the sun and the water....||Let's talk about the bad news... well where to start from? Let's say from the room(s)... why plural? As we were first offered a different room from the one we booked, but after a few complaints explained that was a different one. Ah, forgot I had to complain in Turkish or something similar, as none of the staff could understand English, even my bad one, as you can see... maybe it wasn't good enough for them! Anyhow, the pictures on the website were deceiving as you arrive there and all the rooms have a bathroom. what's wrong with it? Well, you have literally a bathroom IN your bedroom! The WC is not separated by consistent walls or doors from the bedroom. Think about this, your partner and you have had a romantic night, at some point in the night or in early morning one of the two has to go to the toilet... well... the embarrassment would be terrible if one of the two doesn't go off the room, in the meanwhile.||The dust is everywhere an also a nice streak of hair was left out of the shower and the carpet has turned grey from white. The shower holder was broken, the sockets off the walls and the furniture nicely old but still broken, bent and obviously dirty.||And of course, don't expect the daily change of bath towels or linen or the cleaning of the room, not even in 4 days time. ||Internet... all right we are in 21-century aren't we? Well, internet in the room was a mirage and the only place available was around the swimming pool. ||The location was amazing even in the morning in the breakfast garden, where a dog was left in a cage for all the time, often barking for desperation... although the area was also untidy, the only pleasure was the sun through the tree branches and the breakfast, one of the two positive things.||When you pay don't expect any sort of receipt, but just an EXTRAS bill... what's that? Ah, all the beverages they offered us in the previous days... making them pay even the coffees and teas, that in Turkey normally are a gift for guests... But possibly we weren't...

Bu otele kimler yorum yapmış bilmiyorum ama burada kalıp da yorum yapmayan ilginç zaten. Eşyalar kırık dökük, ama öyle böyle değil. Antika diye çürük çarık eşyalar doldurulmuş. Karyola başı ayağı kırık. Her yer toz pislik içinde, bir yere dokunulmuyor odada. En bombası ise tuvalet odanın içinde cam bir paravanla ayrılmış. Hayatımda böyle birşey görmedim. Tuvalete gir girebilirsen odada biri varken. Onu geçtim koku ne oluyor acaba. Zira biz kalamadan girdik ve çıktık. Böyle bir yerde kalmadığımız için de külhan beyi otel sahibi tarafından sorguya çekildik. Hani biraz daha konuşsak dövecek herhalde. Gerçekten kötü otel de gördük ama bu kadarını hiç görmemiştik. Keşke...
