Erpey Ferah Otel — Hotel in Burhaniye

The hotel accepted our reservation in April 2022 for 33 Euros per night. 6 Days prior to us checking they cancelled the reservation via email advising us "we cancelled due to your request". We made no such request and contacted Hotels.com, through whom we had booked. ||||Hotels.com spoke to the owner who told them that the cancellation was due to "construction" a very different story than the "you requested to cancel". All in all it was quite a negative and stressful experience. The hotel had no thoughts as to how this last minute cancellation on their part was impacting our holiday, they just wanted to increase the price and sell the room at a rate 3 times higher. ||||I contacted the hotel via WhatsApp and they admitted that an employee had entered the price incorrectly. Poor management and a disregard for their customers meant that no one noticed this for 3 months and then decided to just cancel our stay on the 6th of July. ||||It is infuriating and disappointing the such poorly run establishments are allowed access to internet platforms. The hotel is clearly not up to world standards and should not be advertised to a wide audience. After much back and forth on WhatsApp they did say we could stay for free but at this point it was just not palatable. What a wonderful place to vacation! This spot is perfect for singles, couples and families. I came with my family. The host, Eren, goes above and behind to meet the needs of his guests. His English is very good and we had no problem communicating. The owners show great hospitality. The hotel is clean and modern. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, plates and utensils. The little store with everything you need is a 15 min walk from the hotel. The views are absolutely breathtaking. I’m coming back, and would encourage my friends to come...
