What can I say about this place having very recently spent 10 nights there. Well let me say that as with any tourist attraction photos try and fill the gaps that words can't sufficiently describe. In this review any pictures I post will NOT do it justice. What I mean by this is that this hotel is simply 10 out of 10 in every way. Let me assure you however that I have been to many countries and stayed in many locations and each one can be unique and highly rated in different ways and for different personal preferences but the Letoonia Club Hotel for me and the 16 others all agree is like a pocket of paradise. I stayed in the main hotel in the 2nd floor, room 2010. So where do I start. Hygiene in the room and the entire hotel grounds was very high. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard everyday with bed linen and towels changed daily. The grounds were tended to again to a high standard. No litter at all, anywhere. The amount of bars and restaurants are vast and the guest is spoilt for choice, we ate at every restaurant and bar offered on the grounds and the vast array of food and drink offered was again beyond the satisfaction one would expect and that was for breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper. The pools, again were ample in quantity each with ample sunbeds but be aware, the early bird with its towel gets the pick of the bed/s. Sleep in and you get what's left, what I mean be this is any large groups of you will not be together so we all took it in turn to put the towel on the bed for each of us. The pools are of a depth shallow enough for an 8 yr old and deep enough for an adult of 5ft 2" and above. Again each pool is serviced by a restaurant and pool bar and the cleanliness is very high. This is something the hotel management are super keen on their guests experiencing. I personally observed every morning with the pool area and sunbeds being cleaned by dedicated staff, a massive thank you to the hygiene team. If you prefer the beaches as my wife and I do again as with the pools expect very clean and family safe beaches with a shallow beach and warm seas. As for the entertainment, I didn't go to every show but entertainment is provided everyday and the choice is vast, and I mean vast including swim lessons. Literally, whatever is your thing it is available on a daily basis. Evening entertainment is also to a high standard with live music in the Agora (meeting/market place in ancient terminology). Where seating is vast and with table service, just stick your hand up and one of the many waitresses will be more than happy to make sure your thirst is quenched served with a beautiful smiling face. If the amphitheatre is your thing the entertainment group of ladies and gents offer a different show every evening for you and the children with no disappointment at all, each are well skilled to entertain and bring applause. I think the last thing I need to mention or else I could write for another 10 thousand words is the grounds. I watched some YouTube videos, 2 of particular offer a very good insight one by a young English lady who I believe had made her 2nd trip there and another by a gent who takes you on a 45min tour everywhere. They are good representations of what to expect but let me assure you, they do not replace being there in person. The flora and fauna are simply heavenly to walk amongst, all on purposefully laid driveway which circumnavigate the entire hotel grounds and on 2 levels one being sea level. The paths are well lit for the evening stroller too which if you are like me, if you have any semblance of romance to walk your better half is purely perfect especially after your meal and especially after visiting the Moonlight restaurant and then the sunrise bar which is an over 16 yr old cocktail bar accessed via the moonlight restaurant or the sea level walk. Of course the adults of my family frequented more than once lol, (see pics). Well that is all I can say if I'm to keep my review at a minimum, other than that the only thing left to say is you must go, we all intend on...

What makes this hotel special is the natural beauty, Turkey is absolutely stunning when it comes to landscape and natural beauty. The location is simply heaven on earth and breathtaking.
The Entertainment team really work hard from morning to night to ensure all the guests are having the best time. They put a smile on the guests faces and really make them feel special. They are polite, professional and extremely talented. They speak a minimum of 2 languages and are very attentive to the guests. The in-house shows which are designed, choreographed and planned from scratch displays their many talents. We loved the shows with a 2 week program so you will not get bored. If I am honest I didn’t expect such a full program at the end of season, I was really impressed and surprised in a good way! I also know that it becomes extremely harder when the weather changes but they worked even harder to make sure the guests were happy.
I have to say for the above 2 reasons I would give this hotel 5 stars, however what lets those 5 stars down I have to be honest and share..
The not so good…
We paid extra for a hotel room, this is advertised on JET2 as ‘the best room available’, if you want a peaceful nights sleep do not book the hotel room, the noise is too much also if you do not smoke avoid the hotel block because the smell of cigarettes is everywhere. Opt for a garden room instead which is the cheaper option, I heard from guests that it was peaceful and no smell of smoke. I believe these 2 issues are down to the enclosed space and poor design of the hotel block. We did ask to change rooms which was slightly quieter but had no wifi connection once the room was changed. Clearly the hotel has the potential for many improvements which requires investment, in my opinion the best investment is staff, I noticed some staff members in the restaurant and bar team really don’t care about giving a service with a smile, in the service sector this is a must. The only poor excuse I can give on their behalf is that it was the end of season and they’re tired however this shouldn’t be the case. I do feel that this let the experience down.
The Ugly…
Wear and tear of the amenities in the hotel, old towels with holes in them both in the room and by the pool. General maintenance of the walk way around the hotel, I tripped a few times on mini pot holes. Broken sun loungers, umbrellas, tables around the main pool and bar area were disappointing to see and use.
Poor bar service and attitude of some bar staff. Please note this is not all the staff but enough to notice and be disappointed. After 8 days I decided to try a cocktail for the first time, I saw fresh mint on the bar, I asked for a mojito and the bar man told me after 22:30 they do not make cocktails, as I walked away from the bar the same bar man made a cocktail for another guest right in front of me. So strange.
I hope management can take on this feedback and spend some money in the right places because this hotel has so much potential.
All in all for me what makes a holiday memorable is the beautiful culture, warm hospitable people and natural beauty. For this reason people that really made the effort to make this holiday special are Eric (Eray) & Fi Fi (Fikret) from the entertainment team. They really work hard and seem to be the energy of the entire team. They made us smile, were professional and seem to be genuine kind and hard working people. I would also like to show my appreciation to Gokhan, Ersan and Ersin from the restaurant staff. They really went above and beyond with the service. The above people really made our holiday memorable and would be the main reason I would return in 2023, along with the natural beauty.
I still give this 5 stars ONLY because of the 2 reasons mentioned above, entertainment team and...
Read moreJust got back from a 9 day holiday, have to say I cannot really fault the place. Could nitpick over small things, nothing is perfect even at a 5* hotel but overall the place really ticked all our boxes and did not disappoint. Firstly, it is a large spread out complex, more like a village, which we like instead of a high rise buildings. At Letoonia you have space and privacy. The resort complex reminded us of Thailand, with the bungalows being amongst the trees and bushes along the hillsides and the tropical climate. So our two rooms were adjoining in a bungalow, plenty of space for two adults and two boys; rooms were clean, comfortable and well equipped. I asked for a quiet room and 6671/6672 was just that, yes up the top of the hill at the far end but we didn't mind the walk/steps for the peace and serenity, it was 2mins down to Dolphin bay and 5mins to the middle pools, bar and 2nd restaurant. We ate in every restaurant except Chopstix, all the food we had was excellent. The buffet options at the three standard restaurants was wide ranging andn excellent. So many options and such good quality food. It's good that they change it up daily with specials in the evenings but the staples such as local food, salads and desserts were very good. My 15 and 17 Yr old sons loved the breakfasts... again so many options, everything you could want or think to eat and a couple of times they went to the 24hr snack bar after midnight for another go! You can literally eat and drink somewhere 24hrs a day! We mainly hung out in the day at Dolphin Beach for sea swimming and sunbathing, buffet lunch at Dolphin bar, then moved up to the middle pools and bars in the afternoon. Never any issues with sunbeds eitjer! Found that as long as you put a towel down by around 09:30 there is always space and beds free up again from 3pm. We liked the sea promenade that wraps itself the whole way along the coastal front of the resort, great for walks, early morning runs or one of the shaded sunbeds if you wanted to be out of the way. Obviously the privileged are still up at 6-7am to bag their front row beds on the beach or pool deck... Drinks wise, the beer is not great, its Tuborg but the heat made it more palatable although my taste buds struggled after 2 or 3. The sunrise bar, which is great in the afternoon to sit and watch the views across the bay (and its open all night), does do Carlsberg draft which is marginally better. We thought that the cocktails, wine with dinner and other drinks were fantastic and great value. Local wines for free at dinner were actually decent. Was nice sitting down at the disco bar after dinner by the lighthouse, which is a cool vibe listening to DJ play music and trying different cocktails, whilst admiring the lights across the bay over in Fetihye. Lastly, the service and effort by all the employees across the complex is excellent; they were incredibly attentive, friendly and on the ball working hard to keep the place clean and presentable at all times, clearly well trained and also greet you with a smile. In summary, we really liked it, very impressed with the quality and service and would thorughly recommend it to families of all ages and to groups. Thank you to everyone at Letoonia for making our holiday...
