We have just returned from a week long half term break at Hillside and while it was good; it wasn't perfect.|First impressions were good as we arrived well after midnight but reception was fully staffed and waiting for us and there was also food laid on as they knew we would not have eaten that evening - a nice touch and something not many hotels do.|ROOMS|The next morning we settled in and started to explore what Hillside has to offer. Our room (484) was a superior family room with terrace and was a long way from the main resort facilities. We are an active family but even we found it a bit of a drag popping back to the room repeatedly as there are A LOT of flights of stairs. Not a big deal but something to bear in mind if you have a choice of rooms. The room itself was ok but a bit basic and the second bedroom was tiny - you could just about squeeze two beds in. The set up with the bathroom coming off the outside terrace was a bit unusual as well and the bathroom itself was again pretty cramped and basic.|The view from the room was stunning though and the resort has been really well designed so all the rooms have views and fit beautifully into the hillside. It really is a stunning location and the hotel has been really sympathetically laid out.|FACILITIES|Facilities are great. We played pickel ball every day and booked Padel a couple of times (gets booked up very quickly) as well as doing morning yoga on silent beach, some of the circuit training/gym classes and some of the dance classes. Only issue with the facilities was that there was a tennis tournament on for pretty much the duration of our stay so we were not able to play tennis at all - a bit frustrating.|We also hired bikes and cycled round the headland late one afternoon - stunning but a lot of climbing.|Watersports were good and fairly priced as well.|FOOD|Buffet for lunch and dinner was pretty good with a broad range of options to cater for all tastes. Pretty standard international hotel offering - nothing exceptional but it was all ok. I think the set up in the restaurant could be improved though with staff taking you to tables rather than leaving guests to wander up and down in the chance they could find one themselves. Not a big deal but it would make things a lot easier at busy times. We also ate in Pasha one evening - notably better food than the buffet and much more of a sense of occasion as well. One complaint here though is that we were charged about £20 for something with the dinner and I have no idea what it was - cover charge, bottled water - who knows? As a general comment its not very clear around the hotel what you have to pay for and what you don't and there are very few prices anywhere - nothing in the coffee or ice cream bars for example.|We tried to get into the other restaurant on a couple of occasions as well but did not call quickly enough after the reservation line opened to get a table - a little frustrating.|STAFF / ENTERTAINMENT|All the staff were extremely professional and friendly; always having time to chat and checking everything was ok. Very hard working as well doing all the gym / dance classes as well as the evening shows and providing childrens entertainment. The evening shows were varied and entertaining but I don't think there is a need for them every day.|My biggest issue with entertainment though was that every evening after the shows - so 10:15 pm or so - a beach party was held. As mentioned we were a long way from the centre of the resort but the music was incredibly intrusive and kept us awake until midnight on a number of occasions - unnecessary and out of keeping with a luxury resort in my opinion. |BEACHES|There are three beaches; two of which are adults only which seems a bit over the top. Why not have one adult beach, the main beach and one quiet beach (children are quite capable of quietly reading/sunbathing).|ALL-INCLUSIVE / FULL BOARD|As mentioned, it's not clear sometimes what you have to pay for and what you don't; particularly as there were certain drinks / snacks laid on at various times of the day. I think it would be much easier if the hotel were to increase the rates slightly and just go all-inclusive.||All in all we had a good break but with a few tweaks it could have been excellent. I noted from chatting with other guests that the vast majority were repeat visitors to Hillside (20 times in some cases!) but I don't think we...

My 12th visit after 5yr absent due to covid and health reasons.||It's still heaven on earth.||3 beaches 2 adults. You know have an app and to get to the adults you need to scan through the gates kn the code. ||Regards to restaurant . Main buffet has approved and refurbished. You can go to the fish counter and they will cook it and bring it to the table. You give your table number. So much food not just turkish but Chinese Italian etc fresh pizza baked. Everything is amazing .we dined at the pasha. You can book only 2 days before from 11am-4pm. You must book ASAP to get your place. Didn't get the chance to dine at the Italian.||It was my partner first time and we had superior Seaview balcony room 431. Fantastic view.||Greeted with wine and strawberry's abd then champagne and strawberry on my birthday.||People must remember its full board plus. All drinks in restaurant included except pasha restaurant. Though it's free to dine you pay for your drinks which you pay at the check in desk. There is a coffee bar and ice cream by the bar not included. You pay what you purchase. You can play volleyball archery darts free but motore sports are not. So please bring extra to cover these costs.||Has a facial and amazing massages.||Massage roughly £60 for 60 mins and facial more. Can't remember which one o had but it was approx £90. Nature spa is a must. You get water with lemon with fruit once you are done. ||Free shuttle bus to fethiye only 3 in the morning and 3 back. This needs to improve more as I think there shoukd be 5 for going into fethiye and back. Shows are amazing. Loved tge Beyonce and Tina Turner.||Letchie and Loreno were amazing but so we're tge rest of the team.||You have 2 beach party. Well 1 on Wednesday and the pasha party on Saturday. Except loud music played at night ||I can't complain. Little things that need to change eg it's a 5 star hotel. Hotel shoukd provide free daily water everyday at least 2 bottles ||Some things have changed but I find this a little petty.||I had a great tune catching up with the staff and few guests ||Thank you Kadir who works at tge restaurant. Zaffar who looked after us. Mert at the pasha restaurant.||Loreno Obed Hamza Letchie Giusi who did the amazing stretch asses..you do have sunset and I thing a morning yoga. Again heck daily on your activities .||I will be back. Hooefully next yr if not defenotly year after and bring 2 grown up stepsons .||Thank you...

I spent one week (Sun-Sun) at HBC with my family (wife, 8-year old daughter and 5-year old son) in the second half of July. What a place! The beauty of the beach and its surrounding water, the clarity and temp of the water, the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff, the fun and friendliness of the activity team and their nightly performances, and the Food (ahhh the food!!). All were incredible, and at a very high level. With the crowning glory to the food we had throughout the day at the main restaurant. We had worried that we would get bored pretty quickly at 1 main restaurant and a buffet at that… but they proved us incorrect, and some time later, I find myself still longing for it. The quality of their produce was so high which all felt very local, and the preparation too. There had to be some negatives though, albeit relatively on the minor end. The rooms do feel a bit dated (one can say still rustic - but the beds were very comfy and rooms kept very clean) and i wasn’t a fan of the design of the family rooms having two separate rooms who shared a ‘outside bathroom’. No issues with an outdoor shower, but having an outdoor toilet in that heat was uncomfortable. Also wish the outdoor seating area had a fan. Other main negative was we found ourselves ending our nights very late due to the nightly events, and depending where you are you might hear loud noise then as well. Putting the kids to bed was more challenging in those circumstances. However, overall, a fantastic place, and we are already planning to come back next year!

We spent the last days of our honeymoon at Hillside Beach Club and did not really know what to expect. The website does not really give you a picture of what you actually get. The room (we booked category C) was way nicer than the pictures of the website suggest. All four beaches are absolutely beautiful. Two of them are a bit secluded and adults only. There are sport courses all day (morning yoga with Merve at silent beach was our favourite) and tennis, padel and squash court free of charge (besides the rackets for tennis if you don’t bring your own). The room rates include full board plus which means you get amazing food at basically most times of the days. When we booked, we thought it only counts for the main restaurant but you also have free lunches at two of the beaches and the option to get dinner in two a la carte restaurants (for those dinner options you have to reserve a table max 3 days in advance and drinks are not included). In general, if you buy drinks apart from the complementary drinks in the main restaurant, prices are totally fair! The quality and variety of food is out of this world. We have never experienced something similar before. It’s like moving in to a Michelin star restaurant. One more thing to highlight is the staff. Everyone is extremely nice and helpful and welcomes you with a warm smile. And this does not only account for those who have frequent interactions with guests. A special thanks to Army, Lory and Evy for the nice sports tournaments and teaching us pickle ball. We will definitely come back :)
