We were here in August, 2019 in the evening (6-7pm). We came by one of the party ships from Olüdeniz beach. Originally, we wanted to go by a boat taxi but as it was quite late, we didn't want to bother looking for one, risking that noone would take us there, so we just took the party ship insted. It was 50 turkish lira per passenger. Most of the people were partying on the main deck but just a level below there was nobody. We were afraid of crowds on the beach but at least around the evening there was noone, just couple of campers who were staying overnight. Actually, it was three large party ships total on the beach and yet, the beach felt calm and empty. Almost a real paradise experience. The beach really is secluded and is absolutely incomparable to overcrowded Olüdeniz beach. It is sandy and you can spot turtles there. There are facilities to get water or food from. It was just 20-30 minutes ride by the party ship. I still recommend taking the boat taxi, as the party ship let you stay just for an hour. But I guess other ships might have different schedule.

It would be a perfect place, of there were no people here - First of all, you should remember that the butterflies are that kind of creatures that won't always wait for you to come. So, don't be disappointed when you come and see no butterflies, as it is simply not the time when they usually come there. - Second, don't be surprised to see many people here, as there is already more then 4 K reviews of this place. As the beach here is not very wide, as it is situated between two cliffs, the people coming here by boats, occupy the shore very quickly. My opinion, this place definitely worth visiting, but only early in the morning, or late in the evening. Both time there is no many people. Don't even think of come here on foot - too hard and to long to do it. Best option is to hire your own boat.

We stayed in Butterfly valley two nights. The nature and scenery is amazingly beautiful. The whole concept of the area is great - sort of secluded comune type of place. I would however like to point out that comparing the property prices with other properties in Selcuk, Kas and other nice places - it is quite pricey for what they are offering. We stayed in a wooden hut which is very very basic.Inside the house it is extremely hot, so you can not really rest there. The food that is included in the price is the same every day and it is vegetarian, so you need to go for dinner to a place nearby where they offer meat and fish as well. The toilets and showers are very basic as well, and can sometimes (toward the evening time) get quite dirty and without toilet paper. What is the most disturbing are the boats that come into the valley around 10 am and stay there until 13.00 - with a huge number of tourists, loud music and they simply destroy the scenery and its quiet setting. Otherwise the concept of the valley is great, the hosts are amazingly kind and helpful, the evenings with live music are out of this world original and you just feel you are in a different world. There s even a small bookstore - a guy selling books (also English ones). It sort of feels like that Leonardo Dicaprio from the movie The beach will show up around the corner - this is sort of the vibe of the place. I would recommend it for sure, just be prepared for some very basic...

-manager is very rude and hateful. he scolded, tried to manhandle and shouted us because we used the swing. he shouted us that "if u brake swing, u have to repair and pay for it" and added "it is for children". this would be a joke! i have been there for 20 times for years and i haven't seen a child yet! and if it is for children yo have to specify that on a warning signboard! after this dialogue he started to shout and walk on us with very rude and slang insults. if we didn't step back, maybe he would use brute force on us! ||-there is a signboard written this: "don't speak loudly. it is harmful for butterflies". this must be a joke as well! we couldn't sleep at nights for days because of too much loud music and too much shouts of laughter! we could sleep by sunrise!||-nature is perfect. but company unable to care of it. beach is look like a rubbish dump! everywhere is covered with empty alcohol bottles, cigarette butts, etc. ||-accommodation at bungalows is not comfortable. there are only two beds in it. nothing else! also there are so many spiders, lizards, slugs in the room. and we paid 30 euros for this room per person. ||-nature is unquestionably excellent! but company is ruining...
