Suncity Beach Club — Hotel in Fethiye

On arrival at the hotel , the room we asked for when we booked the holiday wasn't what we got, so we asked to change, no problem. The room which we got (1307), well, let just say I thought they'd put us in the servants quarters, what a shambles. The hotel is apparently a 4star, I wouldn't give the room 2star. The smell on arrival to the room was terrible. The deco in the bathroom was terrible, plus the shower didn't work properly unless you mucked around with it , even then it leaked onto the floor. Holes in the wall and wires hanging out of wall. No furniture to sit on so brought a chair in from the balcony, which while sitting there one night the back broke with me hitting my head on the floor 😤. That was the final straw for us. So for the third time we asked to move, and with some debate at reception they put us in the honeymoon suite, which a lovely couple we meet said they was leaving in the morning and we should ask for that room. Only a star for the place because of the ambience it’s stunning beach and very chill place however everything is overpriced but like what you pay is not worth the service you get, very unprofessional workers, clearly no proper system. They ask 750lira only for entry saying in an adult area but its actually the same area only different pattern sunbeds like what am I getting for that price? The woman who asks money at the door has a weird unprofessional attitude, when its a pay time you have to check your bill because they add something extra on bills each time I was there in case you don’t check your bill just pay and go you will lose an extra money from your pocket. You also give order takes super long time and mostly comes wrong. Staff has no clue about cocktails they are not informed or trained. I am not fussy person but like the money you pay and the service you get is definitely a not good match. for example for a 33cl beer cost £8.00 about (250-300lira) one of the most ridiculous beer price near Europe. Keep driving right to the end of thw road and you reach this magical place. Safe for your kids as its part of the blue lagoon and pefect for a swim in the out of season months as warmer than the swimming pools. Absolutely awesomw staff and atmosphere ,i love it here, its my go to place whenever i'm in fethiye Costs roughly about £10 each and theres a restaurant whoch is excellent and reasonably priced, not as cheap as less touristy places downtown but the food is well worth the monry. The music is very chilled (think 90's ibiza chill out music) which is perfect background acoustics. you may need a car, or at least to get the bus and then walk. Plenty of parking and well the views. Its just so good. Closes at 5pm and the beach is so much cleaner than other places.
