Elite Marmara Hotel Gungoren — Hotel in Güngören

It is hardly to speak with the staff in english. If you do not have any knowledge in turkish staying there will be adventure. The prices on site are lower than offered via booking. Two adults and one 2 yo child take two nights with breakfast for 320 YTL. The room was not so clear, there was a dust in angles, the shower was damaged and it was really difficult to wash my hear, I was supposed to kneeling. The sounds from the restaurant on top flour was high till midnight and that makes rest impossible. Problem with sounds comes also from the window. Good day! We had two rooms. One room was good, the other worse. There is something to be repaired everywhere. Breakfast was modest but fresh and very tasty tea. Most of all we were touched by the attitude at the reception of the man who met us and all the time helped us, prompted us with heart warmth, friendliness, he always gave useful information and help. Thanks to him all our questions were solved. Unfortunately, we don't know his name, but we saw him on the morning of 9, 10 and 11 October 2024. Overall the people in Turkey are wonderful. The hotel is quite good, it is value for money (49 euro from www.booking.com). The staff is very kind and they can help you. The breakfast is vey good for a 3 star hotel. The wi-fi in the room is perfect,! Bad sounproof The area is non for tourists, there is no any danger, but it is a poor neighborhood.
