They were so positive and cheerful, we love to have conversations with them. They also provide everything for your comfort and happiness. ||||We stayed in a 1000 years old historical village room called Topuz. Staying in it felt like living in those ages. It was a quite mystical and amazing experience. ||||They serve breakfast and dinner. They gather most of their ingredients from natural village markets and it was very delicious. It was very amazing to try local flavors.||||This family also runs a travel agency called Cappamania Tour. Levent is a very experienced, licensed tour guide with a lot of knowledge about historical places around Cappadocia and the civilizations that lived there. As this was our second visit to Cappadocia, we had visited most of the attractions before. Levent created a personalized tour, took us to places we've never known, and gave us amazing information about how previous civilizations lived there. He tells the events from the perspectives of the people living there. It was a nice experience. He gave us too many recommendations about all around Turkey too. We will probably get another tour with them.||||At first, we were afraid that it was far from the city center but after a full and tiring day, eating breakfast and dinner in a calm environment was all we need. We stayed in a thousand years old historical village room called Topuz. Staying in it felt like living in those ages. It was a quite mystical and amazing experience.

Read moreLast year we saw the film "Wintersleep" winner of the Palm d' or of Cannes. A beautiful film of the life in winter in a small hotel in a very little village in Cappadocia. I had to go to that region! In two words incredible beautiful!. 20 kilometer from the busy centre Göreme we found in Karlik our little hotel with five rooms two suites(!) and three caverooms. Gürcan the young owner of the hotel is tremendous helpful, a good cook and besides guide of hiking tours in whole Turkey. So he could tell us nice walks in the beautiful surroundings of the hotel and at evening we where talking about hiking trips through Turkey. Gurcan speaks English very wel. So we had real talk!. The people in the little village are overwhelming nice. We had to drink al lot of coffee and tea when we walked through the village. In Karlik there is no shop or bar. But that's no problem. Even it's better. Gürcan pick you up and bring you to ürgüp for the bus to the airport. And everything you need he has or gets in ürgüp. So our 4 days in Karlik where the perfect end of our trip through Cappadocia. In that place we found the rest we needed. So all the beautiful impressions of three weeks Turkey landed in Karlik.
