Disappointing Service at a Hotel with Great Potential
We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in mid-April and had high hopes based on its location and offerings. Unfortunately, while the setting is beautiful and some aspects were enjoyable, the overall experience fell far short of expectations—particularly in terms of service.
Pros: Stunning View: The sea view from our room was absolutely breathtaking.
Beachfront Location: The hotel’s beachfront deck was lovely and unique.
Charming Grounds: The flowers and landscaping around the property were delightful.
Enjoyable Wellness Activities: We really liked the yoga and pilates classes.
Birthday Touch: A thoughtful cake and bottle of wine were sent to our room for birthdays, which we appreciated.
Cabana Experience: The £90 cabana rental included champagne, a fruit platter, nuts, crisps, and a minibar (same selection as in-room). It was a relaxing experience overall, though not without issues.
Desserts: The dessert selection was consistently good.
Food Quality: The buffet meals were decent, but there was not much variety from day to day.
Cons: Service: This was the most disappointing aspect. The waitstaff came across as disinterested and untrained. At no point were we proactively approached for drink orders in the bar or restaurant areas—something unheard of in a five-star resort, especially in Turkey. It often felt like the staff were avoiding interaction altogether.
Slow & Limited Drinks: When we did manage to place an order, service was slow. The all-inclusive drinks menu was underwhelming—only local alcohols were included, with a very limited cocktail and mocktail selection. Most mocktails were just mixed juices, lacking creativity and flair seen in similar resorts.
Inconsistent Cabana Service: The “exclusive waiter” promised with the cabana booking was not very responsive, despite us being the only guests using the service that day.
Unequal Guest Treatment: It was frustrating to see guests who hadn’t paid for the cabanas freely using them, while we were immediately told off (and quite rudely) when we were just having a look before deciding whether to book.
Lack of Entertainment: One of the key reasons we chose this hotel was the advertised party and entertainment scene, but no events were held during our stay. The only live music offered was the same performer each evening. While we understand it was low season, this should have been made clearer at the time of booking.
Unwelcoming Gym Rules: My brother was not allowed to use the gym because he forgot his trainers. While we understand the hygiene policy, the enforcement felt unnecessarily strict and inflexible.
Unexpected Tennis Focus: During our stay, there was a tennis tournament taking place. The teens involved were mostly well-behaved, but it gave the impression that this is more of a tennis-focused resort, which wasn’t mentionedh when we booked.
Overall: This hotel has a lot of potential—its location, facilities, and some small touches were lovely. However, the consistently poor service and lack of attention to guest experience were extremely disappointing and more in line with a 2-star property. We would not return and unfortunately cannot recommend it to others unless significant changes are made to staff training and guest...

Read moreThis is the second 5-star all-inclusive hotel I visited with my friends during the last couple of years and it is my favorite one so far.
The location might not be the best considering that it's located a bit far from the city Kemer, but the place itself is very beautiful and the beach is nice and sandy (not a single rock).
Rooms are decent, neat, with great room service. You either get a view of the sea or mountains, but in some cases the view can be interfered with some parts of the building.
The staff is professional, nice, calm, polite, attentive and they are serving you relentlessly all day and night. The hotel has a huge amount of personnel, which allows them to serve hundreds of visitors timely and with quality.
The food is great! Huge assortment - fresh vegetables, hot meals, sea foods, lots of sweets, snacks, drinks, cocktails. Everything is included. In all restaurants and bars personnel is serving you, which adds additional comfort. They also have a 24-hours food court (my favorite), where you can get fast-foodish meals. It's perfect for the late night snacks:)
The place is quite safe. Lots of families visited during our stay and the kids were safely roaming throughout the entire hotel without any worries of parents. On top of that, the hotel does have a kindergarten where parents can drop their kids for several hours and get some rest and relaxation.
The outside pool is decent, not very huge, but big enough for many people. Around of the pool there are lot's of sunbeds and beach umbrelas. On the beach and dock, sunbeds and umbrelas are even more, so anyone can get cosy place for sunbathing and relaxation.
There were different activities for people of different tastes. Beach volleyball (our favorite), darts, bocha, pool fun, aqua spinning, gym, etc. Animation crew members were very positive and friendly. It was a pleasure to interact with them. There was also a gaming room with a different board (pool, table football, air hockey) and video games, but with an additional pay (not expensive though). You can also enjoy water sports, like water parachutes, jet skis, etc (also charged separately)
Spa center is nice, with different types of massages, sauna and inside pool.
Last but not least, every day there was a club night. The theme of the night was different almost everyday (disco, latino, techno, etc). Great DJs, performers, beautiful dancers, sound quality. Amazing atmosphere for those who want to dance and have fun. The club night finishes at 12:00am (midnight) in order not to bother other visitors who prefer to have a peaceful night. But, if someone wants to continue a party, there is a possibility to visit the famous night clubs of Kemer using a special transfer of the hotel.
As a conclusion I would recommend Corendon Hotel for 100% no matter if you are a couple, family, friends or just a solo traveler. Anyone can get a great time of...
