We had been traveling throughout Turkey with a group and this hotel was by far our worst place we stayed at. The photos online are very deceiving and doesn’t portray the actual hotel. Concept of an individual tiny house in a garden is great however everything is made very cheaply and most things don’t work.
1- We didn’t even try the jacuzzi because it was awfully dirty. 2- Our room smelled like cigarettes. There were burn marks on the furniture and nasty stains. There was an ashtray in the room. The guy who works in the reception greeted first person in our group with a cigarette he was smoking in reception and he showed our friend his room with a cigarette in hand. 3- Heavy sewage smell in the bathroom. We didn’t even want to go into shower. Bathroom also wasn’t cleaned, posting a photo of a very obvious razor that was left previously on the floor. 4- We rented 6 separate rooms and no one was happy with their room. Area lost electricity due to a storm but when it was all normal one room had still problems and our friend couldn’t use lights or air conditioner. They said they’d change her room when the rest of the guests show up. So she waited for us in dark (also cold because air conditioner is used as a heater) when we all arrived the guy told us he didn’t want to change her room. We had to be very stern about it but later on no one wanted to even ask for anything from the hotel because the same guy was there and he wasn’t helpful at all. 5- We had another hotel in a different part of the country ship us a wallet that was left by one of our friends in our hotel. The guy at reception told the delivery person he didn’t want to accept a package and decided it wasn’t important to tell us about this cargo. If I didn’t ask, he wasn’t going to even mention. 6- Hotel was actively under construction, work days starting around 8am - 8.30am and some friends were waken up by construction noise at very early hours with workers smoking in front of their rooms. There’s also a restaurant with live music so some of our friends also had hard time sleeping. 7- Hotel is very close to a water treatment center so you can imagine the smell around. 8- Four of friends didn’t speak Turkish so I had to translate their needs to English because no one spoke English. I don’t mind translating but it certainly is not my job doing so.
We normally booked and paid for 5 rooms for 3 nights but after the 2nd night we decided to get the hell out of that place and left without an explanation.
I have more photos and videos so if the owners decide to disagree with anything I stated, I am willing to make a complaint...
Read moreBefore we book, we specifically asked if the jacuzzi is working. It was the decision maker for us since it was my wife’s birthday.
Staff confirmed that jacuzzi is working. We have settled to Room 108.
On our arrival, big disappointment. Jacuzzi was really dirty, we tried our best and started it later on. After 10 minutes, jacuzzi shot down automatically. We informed reception and they said there’s a problem with the switch.
It was 9 pm, reception called and said, there’s a problem with the main electric switch of the hotel, which is located in our room. It’s urgent and they have to come and work on it. It was really unpleasant and we have relocated to Room 101. When we checked in the room was smelling heavy cigarette.
Again there were hair and mess in jacuzzi. After cleaning it by our own, jacuzzi stopped working after 10 minutes. We were told to push the switch from electric panel which is somewhere on the back of the garden. After few try we gave up.
Not the cheapest, not the most expensive, however which hotel you go on your birthday, you receive kind words, maybe a complementary fruit plate. We never chase such things, on the other hand there wasn’t even a plate/spoon in the room. Towels never changed/refreshed and lack of soap, napkin. Toilet paper was used by someone before us.
We give 2 star just because we liked the quiet atmosphere, garden and...
Read moreOur stay at Collesium Gardens was absolutely perfect. The front desk concierge was so friendly and very helpful, ordering us food and taxis and being translators for us as well. Our little cabin was clean, and was such a new and fun experience compared to just a regular, run-of-the-mill hotel. The neighboring restaurants were delicious and equally hospitable. The location was beautiful, with mountain views and nestled next to a pomegranate orchard. I would absolutely love to come here again. I would like to thank Mehmet and Sara specifically for being so helpful...
