Egeria Park Hotel — Hotel in Kuşadası

We stayed here overnight whilst driving through Kusadasi onto our next destination. I had booked this online thinking it wouldn't matter for just one night. I have to write this review to warn others to not stay here. There are far better all inclusive resorts for this price point. This place would pass for a backpackers but fails as a result of its ridiculously expensive priced rooms. It is inclusive in that in providesbreakfast, lunch and dinner and maybe a snack in between. Breakfast was a sorry affair and dinner was even worse. We left the place hungry. There was hardly any food. For the breakfast buffet they laid out 'butter flavoured margarine', 'strawberry flavoured glucose jam', and 'honey flavoured syrup'. No joke. This is what it actually said on the little sachets, albeit in Turkish. They provided plastic cups for drinks. They also put out cheap store bought bread, stale, limp and oil saturated fries (presumably left over from last night's dinner), cheap frankfurts cut up in circles, bad cheese (presumably the cheapest they could get) and cold strong tea. That's it. Some Turkish guy complained and the chef reluctantly brought out some cut up tomatoes and cucumbers. What utter rubbish. Oh, and dinner on the day we checked in was fried frozen hamsi - turkish anchovies - it's season over almost 7 months ago, some cold pasta and tasteless salad. The rooms were old, tv didn't work and bathroom was moldy. The showers don't have doors that close all the way so the whole bathroom gets wet if someone decides to take a shower to wash away the mistake they made in booking this place in the first place. Please do yourself a favour and stay away. Find another place far away from this place, since the beach here is nearly 30mins walk away on roads with no pedestrian pathways. When you actually make it there alive, you will find a beach littered with garbage, cigarette butts and organic waste. The beach is a coarse dark sand beach, lots of seaweed and the colour of the water is brown - enter the water at your own risk. Suffice to stay we didn't dare go for a swim. So it was a long walk back to the hotel - at least the air conditioning worked. This place makes Fawlty Towers look...

Having read previous reviews we felt we had to redress the balance as this hotel has, in our opinion, been given very unfair reviews. Yes, it is old and yes it has seen better days but it is a small budget hotel and the staff do their very best with the facilities they have available. Although the hotel could do witj a little TLC in terms of decor we found it to be clean and our room was serviced daily by friendly and efficient staff. Because it is a small hotel it would be unreasonable to expect huge amounts of food and drink to be available and we would suggest if you want a bigger choice you pay extra for the giant 5 star hotels. However, before you do you should consider what you will lose - at the Egeria you will meet local people and not have to contend with the queus and noise that often accompany the large corporate and imperonal resorts. Staff at the Egeria were very friendly and always helpful - nothing was too much trouble and they even sent someone out to get me some white wine as they had none in stock and prepared us a packed lunch on our departure as due to the time we were being picked up for our return to the airport we missed lunch. The food was very tasty and there was more than enough available for the average person.|Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and thank the staff for making our holiday...

Несмотря на все минусы отель произвёл положительное впечатление.Вполне соответствует своим 3*.||РАЗМЕЩЕНИЕ.Приехали около 11.Первый раз за всё время не пришлось заполнять въездные карточки.Одели браслеты и попросили немного подождать.Сначала заселяли людей с детьми.Но через час заселили.За размещение 5.Отличный вид особенно с балкона боковой на море и прямо и влево на дома и горы.Очень любили сидеть по вечерам на балконе и крыше.Так же обозревать окрестности можно было с крыши отеля,т.к.он на пригорке.В комнате двухспальная и односпальная кровать.Всё работало.Большой шкаф.Много ящиков.Единственное зеркало очень низко.Приходилось наклоняться.Отсутствовало полотенце под ноги.||ОТЕЛЬ.От аэропорта ехать чуть больше часа 75 км через Кушадасы.По дороге из них в Давутлар на повороте в деревню Согуджак.Маленький уютный.Территория маленькая.Столовая внутри и снаружи.Маленький бассейн с детской горкой.Бар.Настольный теннис.Wi-Fi на ресепшен,но нам не удалось поймать.||ПИТАНИЕ.Не сильно разнообразное,но голодными не оставались.На завтрак сыр,брынза,колбаса,сосиски,джемы,сухие завтраки,помидоры,хлеб,кофе,чай,молоко.На обед ужин из мясного курица и рыба(качество не очень),супы-пюре,цветная капуста,салаты,овощи,булгур,рис,чечевица,приправы,зелень,соления,неспелый арбуз,баклава и локма.Из напитков пробовала пиво(не понравилось) и раки(качество тоже не очень,пришлось с колой пить).Кофе и чай терпимые.Вода первый день была в номере,потом наливали из кулера.||ПЕРСОНАЛ.Доброжелательный.Некоторые даже знают немного по-русски.Единственное уборка очень редко,полотенца и бельё меняли 1 раз.Большое спасибо работникам бара Ууру,Окану,Али,работнику столовой Ибрахиму,водителю Сафи,работникам ресепшен.||ПЛЯЖ.Расположен дальше,чем пишут на сайтах.Туда возили в 10 и 14,обратно в 12 и 17.Сначала на Ситроене(не всегда места хватало,в несколько этапов),потом на микроавтобусе.Дойти пешком реально,но не очень удобно,тротуаров в посёлке нет,машины не пропускают,кругом загороженные жилые районы.Пляж хоть и не очень ухоженный,но вполне чистый.У берега немного водорослей,дно песчаное,поэтому вода непрозрачная.Живности не встречали.||АНИМАЦИИ и РАЗВЛЕЧЕНИЙ в отеле нет.Только тихая музыка вечером в баре.Отель тихий.Спать никто не мешает.Рядом отелей нет."Тагила" и маленьких детей тоже не было.Поэтому можно рекомендовать для тихого непритязательного отдыха.||Выйти в пределах пешей доступности из отеля некуда,кроме 3 Мигросов,3 Шоков,рынка с фруктами-овощами,вещевого рынка,хозяйственных и маленьких магазинов.Поэтому для времяпровождения,прогулок и покупок ездили 3 раза в Кушадасы и по 1 разу в посёлки и города...
