Don’t waste your money. Disaster. Pay extra for something better.
We arrived 10/11pm and staff were unhelpful. Shown our room finally and it was disgusting so we came back to request a change. We were shown several different rooms, all looked and felt the same to be honest, just one had higher ceilings. We were charged £30 for the upgrade - cash only (!) they wouldn’t accept card. The £30 was after haggling as they originally asked for €70 to get a better room! Wonder who’s pocket the cash went in to. We booked a double and on arrival they said it was a basic booking, this wasn’t made clear at the time of booking. We were told not to tell any one of the charge! As if they were doing us a favour. Even with the room change the toilet wouldn’t flush! There was trimmed hair over the hand soap dispenser by the toilet sink. The soap dispenser by the shower was falling off. The towel rail was half hanging off once I placed a towel onto it. Shower water would overflow and not drain easily. Cleanliness was very questionable. Sticky and dirty floor and bathroom surfaces. It hadn’t had a deep clean in a while you could tell. Room is so basic. Uncomfortable mattress and pillows. Balcony was nice.
Wi-Fi - non existent! Very poor, and only free in the lobby area. They charge you for WiFi if you want to use it in the bedrooms, however don’t bother buying it as it doesn’t even work.
Take an iron as they don’t have one. Take a converter plug as it’s an old hotel so not modernised for British plugs.
Take a proper towel as theirs are stained, discoloured, and harsh.
Get to the beach early or you won’t get a lounger. Small space available only.
Looks like most of the money was spent on the ground floor lobby area in this hotel and oh yeh the toilet actually flushes downstairs! The rest of the hotel is outdated. UK hostels are better.
Food is so basic and mostly cold. Tasteless and not a great variety. If arriving late to the hotel take a packed lunch as you’ll only get soup. Never enjoyed a meal. Ended up going to Land of Legends twice to get decent food from an actual restaurant.
Staff don’t speak English. Mainly caters for German and Russian people. Barman was drunk the first night we arrived and extremely rude when we asked where we could get food from.
It really does seem that all of Antalya other hotel rejects have gathered here. Staff seem unhappy and miserable. Definitely not happy to help.
Massage: don’t waste your money it’s a con! We paid €75 for a 90 minute massage that was supposed to be a medical massage. (Others paid €35 for the exact same massage). I was violated in the hamam by the staff, actually assaulted as she smacked my bottom 3 times. Disgusting, unprofessional and very perverted. Massage was conducted in a cold room, without oil. It felt like she just moisturised my body. We were told it’s deep pressure, it wasn’t even a gently massage! She played with my feet a little, didn’t massage my shoulders and upper back - usually the tension spot! I had to ask numerous times for her to apply pressure and she didn’t continue. Hot stones weren’t used properly (I’ve had this treatment before), I left with burn marks from where she’d left hot stones on my back. She left the room at least 4x during the process. It wasn’t a massage. I have travelled for over 20 years and had massages for the same timeframe. This is on the list of the top worst. When I went to complain I was told that I should have told staff what to do or that I wanted longer (gaslight!). I was also told they didn’t understand English. I said that’s not my fault that’s the hotels fault! I complained about the burn marks and was told this is normal (!) and it was a medical massage, it’ll get better. Disgusted. It was not a medical massage. As someone who’s seen osteopaths, chiropractors and received sports / deep tissue massages this didn’t come close to being healing. we didnt get the room, that we were promissed. We should have room with balcony. Stuff were not able to help us and promissed our surprise as compensation. Guess what, that surprise was we have not get any compensation. Also they told us that all of the rooms are taken.
Room was terrible. There were hair on the wash-basin. When you wanted to shower, water was everywhere. Everything was wet, because there was not any curtain in the shower. We had to dry our towels and swimsuits on the ground, bed or small sofa.
Everyday they were cleaning room and switching towels.
On the aircondition we saw a mold.

As we had a room right next to the stairs. And the door was really hight and not sound proof, we could hear everything and every single person, that walked by.
Door to the bathroom was hard to close and they were opening all the time.
Something like ventilation was hanging and we were just waiting till it hit our head.

WiFi is made for just a few people using it
It is not working most of the time, beacuse more people use it.
Sometimes it does not even turn on.
They want to get paid for your own WiFi which is for a few days and only for one device.

Drink tasted really bad. I dont know if the vodka, whiskey (which was also flavoured vodka) was with alcohol. It just smelled and tasted bad. We had a lot of drinks and we did not feel like it was alcoholic. We were not able to even find theese kind of alcohol. Alcohol was in the small bottles. I drank only mojito on the pool bar, because they gave there different sirup with alcohol and it tasted much better. Even tho, every drink tasted different on each bar and with each bartender.

Most of the staff, mostly on bars did not understand english. Even when you just said: "no vodka" or "no alcohol". They did not know what are you talking about. That was just example, but there was more missunderstandings. They should be prepared for tourist and be able to talk to them at least a little. Sometimes they were expecting us to understand their language.
Personnel was acting nice and tried their best.
Staff cleaning mess all the time, by the pool and everywhere outside and inside.
Manager, or I do not really know who he was, was by the dinner was announcing us about programm.

Everyday different food. Chefs made a great job! We were always full and be able to trie their national food.
They even grilled meat and vegetables outside.

Read moreUnfortunately, our experience with Clover Magic Park Side was extremely disappointing. We booked and fully paid for the hotel in advance, but upon arrival we were told they were overbooked and offered us accommodation at Nova Hotel (also in their complex), claiming it was a “better option.”
When we arrived there, it turned out not to be a hotel at all, but rather bungalows in terrible condition. The light in the room didn’t work, there was dust everywhere, the air conditioning was broken, and almost everything in the room was damaged or not functioning. We specifically requested a double bed, but were given bunk beds instead.
As an “apology,” they offered us a free hammam, but this in no way compensates for not providing the accommodation we booked and for the unacceptable conditions. We refused to stay there even for one night.
Thanks to our travel agency, we were moved to another hotel at their expense, which saved our holiday. I would never recommend this hotel due to their unprofessional conduct, misleading claims, and the awful conditions in the alternative accommodation they offered.
Dear Clover Magic Hotels Team,
If you believe that holes under the door, a broken refrigerator, an air conditioner that does not work, no proper lighting, and a damaged balcony can be compensated with a single complimentary Turkish bath worth €50, you are gravely mistaken. Such conditions are completely unacceptable for any paying guest.
Had our travel agency not intervened and provided us with a better hotel at their own expense, we would have taken legal action against you.
Please understand that this experience has left us with a lasting negative impression. We will not be returning to your hotels, and we will make sure that other travelers are aware of how poorly you treat...
