Edit : since the below review , a lot of my complaints have been addressed , the staff training/knowledge remains poor however the service levels are much better and itâs a more consistent experience.
Original review :
I am currently staying at this hotel, and I must say that it left me with mixed feelings. On one hand, the design and ambiance of the hotel were simply breathtaking. The sophistication and beauty of the rooms were in perfect harmony with the surrounding environment, creating a truly immersive experience. The location, too, was unparalleled, and the hotel made the best use of its prime position.
However, despite these positives, I couldn't help but feel disappointed by the service provided by the staff. Communication between the hotel staff and guests was noticeably lacking. Important updates and events were only announced on Instagram, leaving many staff members uninformed about the happenings within the hotel. This lack of coordination resulted in confusion and frustration as we found ourselves unaware of available amenities or the current menu offerings.
One of the major drawbacks was the disinterest shown by the staff towards the guests. While the hotel was exclusively for adults, the adjacent beach seemed to attract people from all over, which impacted the serene and exclusive atmosphere. To add to the disappointment, the hotel staff paid little attention to the beachgoers, appearing disengaged and uninterested in catering to their needs. It was disheartening to observe the lack of personal touch and genuine care that should be expected from a luxury establishment.
The music experience at the hotel was a mixed bag. While the pool area offered a perfect and relaxing musical backdrop, the beach area suffered from inconsistencies. On some days, loud disco music with heavy bass blared as early as 8:00 in the morning, disrupting any hopes of tranquility. On other days, pleasant and soothing summery tunes would play, befitting a 5-star relaxation haven. This inconsistency in the musical atmosphere added to the overall inconsistency of the hotel's identity.
It is evident that a considerable amount of thought had been put into the hotel's design, but unfortunately, the same level of consideration does not seem to extend to defining what the hotel truly wants to be. Moreover, it is apparent that minimal effort had been invested in training the staff adequately, resulting in a lackluster guest experience.
In conclusion, this hotel possesses the potential to be one of the world's finest, thanks to its exceptional location and captivating design. However, it falls short due to poor management and the disruptive activities of neighboring establishments. While I genuinely wanted to love this hotel, the issues with service, communication, and inconsistency left me feeling unsatisfied. With some improvements in management and a focus on training and coordination, this hotel could truly become a world-class...
Read morePerios Beach House has drawn our attention at once weâve seen it in the internet: exquisite design, own beach club, beach and panorama view restaurants, infinity pool and own spa facilities, it has all what we needed for a nice and relaxing holiday. |And we got it.|Effective and professional communication with hotelâs Manager Mr.Yavuz Kopuz - and our Premium Suit room is booked. |The room is spacious and comfortably air-conditioned and features cute Smeg fridge and kettle. Itâs been also easily accessible both from the pool and the beach. The terrace doesnât look very private but we spent all the time near the pool or by the sea so it was ok.|Itâs been a pleasure to spend half of the day by the pool and then continue at the beach. Sun beds are very comfy and pool and beach staff is really doing great: friendly, fast and professional! Thank you Didem, Ismail and all the Team! The only thing that could be more elaborate were the cocktails&drinks at the pool bar and interestingly their quality at the beach restaurant was much better than at the pool.|Special thanks to the beach restaurant Chef for stunning pizza, lahmacun, pide and other delicious dishes we tried when having lunch and dinner there! Restaurant Manger Mr.Mustafa Tunca and his Team are doing great job! |As to breakfasts included into our stay one could have traditional Turkish breakfast with tasty menemen or other preferred type of eggs dishes but as to other possibilities we didnât find much variety: no tasty yogurts (there were only two strange home made ones with a very dense and more of a sour cream texture), no oatmeal, no muesli (only two types of flakes: corn and chocolate flakes), no waffles or regular pancakes and when told about it we got comments that as most guests are from Turkey the breakfast is Turkish-oriented. |During our stay we regularly visited spa center. Nina and Sutri working there were both very professional and friendly so we enjoyed hamam, peeling and diff kinds of massages willing to come back over and over again!|In the evenings we had a nice dinner either in the main panoramic restaurant upstairs with nice food, live music every other day and friendly&professional service (wishing Sever and all other guys all the best and sending âprivetâ from Moscow!) or in the beach restaurant downstairs that was also very enjoyable being located on the beachfront passage where you could have a walk along the seaside after dinner.|All in all we had a lovely holiday and could recommend Perios Beach House hotel for a comfortable and...
Read moreThe vegetation and the resort are beautifully designed. The old trees on the ground were protected and the hotel was built around it. Lovely!
The bay and the hotel looks east. So beautiful sunrises but the sun sets behind the mountains at around 4p.m. so no late afternoon sun. Just an info!
The rooms are well designed and clean. We were upgraded to a 2 room suite (1 bedroom/ 1 living room). But there is no wardrobe or similar furniture in the sleeping room. The safe and the wardrobe is in the living room right infront of the entrance. The opaque shades to darken the room only cover 2/3rds of the room. So there was no way of changing your clothes or stowing away your valuables in privacy. While the room was dark and cave like, we saw that
a lot of other rooms were bright. So i would think twice before calling it an upgrade. 1 proper room can be more satisfying than 2 poorly planned rooms. We were o.k. with it because we spent our time outside anyway.
The breakfast has everything one needs. And the products are high quality. The combination of the nice food variety both sweet and salty, the atmosphere amd the morning sun beneath the olive trees. It was simply enchanting.
Maybe 1 thing missing in the resort is a proper porta filter espresso machine. They use the professional gastromony models of the nespresso machines which are still mediocre compared to proper italian espresso. But when in rome, do as the romans do. So i ordered turkish coffee all the time đ
The bay is lovely. The water is clear (blue flag) and what i loved most is that the swimmers area is held very large. So the ships wont disturb you if you want to swim properly. Unfortunately everyday at noon (12.00 sharp) some animation ships will arrive with loud and tasteless music and harras the entire bay. They vanish by three o'clock. Another huge downside is: on both sides of the private beach area of the hotel are public beaches. So the adults only concept only works if you remain at the pool side. Down at the beach: kids will scream and cry from both sides. Even infront of you because they swam to the area of the hotel.
The service was friendly but it was impossible to order from the sunbed. One had to stand up, go to the bar and order there. Both down at the beach and at the pool side.
Lunch and dinner is mediocre and not worth the money. We ate there once. The rest of the evenings we tried out different restaurants in turunc.
Summary: Perios Beach House is one of the nicest resorts in this price category in Turkey. It is almost...
