We spent a blissed out 10 nights at the peaceful paradise of Karia Bel’. This is the perfect hotel for lazy days and tranquil nights, where the service is impeccable, the food is truly delicious and the sun and sea breeze make for the most relaxing holiday. ||||There is no pool, but who needs one when the sea is so warm and calm and you can dive in straight from the sunbed filled jettys. ||||If you like fresh seafood, then this is the place for you. Dinners consisted of four amazing courses and included highlights such as grilled sea bass, swordfish kebabs and octopus carpaccio. The wine list is mostly Turkish and the local roses and whites were fantastic.||||The service here is second to none, you only need to wish for something and it appears. Sedat in particular is very helpful and speaks excellent English. A personal touch included the hotel owner, Beliz, who was always available to answer questions and who checked in with us at each evening meal to ensure that we were ok. ||||There are small, hotel motorboats available to whisk you to and from the local village at a moment’s notice, though it is a quiet and sleepy place. ||||We took a day’s private cruise to the local bays (£150), arranged by Sedat, where a mask and snorkel is a must to see the local sea life swimming amongst the rocks and reefs. ||||The hotel sunbeds are spread across the hotel’s 4 jettys. They were doubles and extremely comfortable. There are more than enough to cater for all guests. The bar is well stocked with beers, spirits and cocktails for afternoon drinks in the sun. ||||If you are after an exciting time, then this isn’t the place for you. Guests mostly consisted of couples looking to escape real life for a quiet and relaxing time. This was perfect for us. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to likeminded couples who want to get away from it all....
Read moreWe arrived on our very first visit to Turkey to be transferred to what I can only describe as a hidden gem, transferred from shore to the hotel via charter boats was like a scene from a James Bond movie to be greeted by the hotel reception team and front of house. ||Whilst we sat on the waterside by the bar the skipper of the transfer boat “captain” removed our luggage and quickly transferred to our room, a room with a view to die for. ||Our room was located a few steps up into the hillside and walking through the entrance we were introduced to the huge private balcony with a hot tub, seating area also loungers looking over the sea into the mountains. ||The room was ceiling to floor by-folding windows opening into a large ensuite room with a peaceful lounge area leading wall to wall wardrobes spare single room to escape the snoring travel companion! ||Each dining time we were met by the owner who was so delightful offering any assistance to enhance our stay, the chef created a wonderful selection for breakfast and a surprising delight each evening for dinner whilst sat at a table on the jetty under candlelight, it was just magical.||The new bar tender only employed two days prior was fantastic never and empty glass and this service was continually supported by the rest of the team nothing was too much effort. ||On our departing day it was emotional to leave the hotel the team made us feel we were leaving behind family, and all came to wish us bon voyage as the caption loaded our cases on to the private boat to take us back to shore. ||Would I recommend this hotel to others! Without a shadow of doubt its up there with the best of what the world has to offer. ||Thank you all at Karia Bel’ Bozburun for a fabulous stay ||See you all again from James, Oliver,...
Read moreDeep relaxation - not been anywhere and not sorry. We’ve been spoiled in just the most beautiful spot: fab food swimming reading chatting and a great bar. If this is heaven - I’ll settle: every day a boat brings fresh produce: no Amazon.||The owner built this place so she told us over many years and it truly is wonderful. The rooms are quite serious not really like a hotel more like the sort of places I’ve seen in California and Greece but incredibly comfortable all with brilliant sea views and boys that sea beautiful. You can see one of the Greek islands plainly neighbouring and daily passing of all manner of sailing craft. It’s just such a relaxing place it’s very quiet. There are no young children which all leads to a very adult polite quiet vibe around the place. The staff are absolutely delightful and serve to every Wiim bringing high-quality food and drink out. It’s also very romantic place that you can sit out on the jetties having your dinner at night by candlelight every single night and after 8 o’clock, the sea calms down to a mill pond stillness and sound carries and it’s just magical. we’ve also watched the phases of the moon during our time here. We’ve had just a lovely time. We are also by the way nothing to do with this review having a bit of a laugh because we are reading the autobiography of two of the principal characters Fleetwood Mac. But the point of that is that this place is so distraction free that you can get on and get really deeply into a good book and that’s really what I’d recommend. Also, it’s the perfect place for conversations about life plans and things like that. They really are no distractions whatsoever you don’t need to go anywhere. You will also get the best sleep you’ve had in ages. And be at your...
