QUANTUM OTEL — Hotel in Ortahisar

The hotel is very tiny. They told us it's 3 stars but it said at the entrance that it's a suite hotel. The Room is the smallest I've ever seen, so it's not even a suite or apartment motel. I suppose they lied to trick people into coming. It's not rated I think at all. Now the only window opens to a wall of another building. So you feel locked in a cell. Some of our group members had there room view into the cemetery next to the motel. In general, It seems clean and tidy. Maybe newly renovated. But the fittings in the toilet kept falling off. The window of the room does not have a mosquitoes-net. It's supposed to be close to the sea, but most of the rooms in this building doesn't have a view of anything. Only 3 rooms in each floor, 4 floors in the building. The building is surrounded by two almost touching other buildings, a cemetery and a small very narrow "road" which has another building at it. So no way the 3 first floors rooms would have any view to anything. I suppose the people who rated the room with sea view had taken the only upper floor room that faces the sea and was over the neighboring building height. Unless your OK with waking up to look at a cemetery, that side also opens to something not wall. As for the accommodations, the room has Kettle, three small bottles of water, tea, but No tissue paper.

The lobby was very small, our small group of 18 people couldn't fit in. The elevator is raised by several steps than the level of the entrance. So it's not handicapped friendly nor old people. They had this ramp at the entrance, which isn't even a ramp. It's around 45 digress sloped, hardly can pull your luggage. No normal woman or maybe a man can pull their bags up to the elevator. They don't have anyone to help.They don't have regular stairs to use if the elevator stops working. And we checked the escape exit it was looked. If there was a fire I think people would be trapped in the building.

Breakfast was served at the roof, which seems was fixed to be an added floor. The elevator doesn't go there. You need to climb a staircase, which again is not for old or handicapped. The view from up there is really good, you can see the sea. Breakfast was really modest, not much of variation, even for bread. We didn't like the setup, and changed the hotel, our group stayed though, although they didn't like it, because all other hotels were booked and our agent couldn't move the whole group. I stay in this hotel with my family, the staffs are very friendly and respectful, thanks to Hasan and Subhan, they speak english professionally.

Thanks to the Otel Manager/owner, the lady is very respectful person and welcoming.

The Otel offer breakfast in a great location while you enjoy the sea view, the chef and the restaurant staffs are very friendly too, they make sure you get the breakfast even they can customize the breakfast based on your interest, thank you.

The Otel is very clean, they clean the rooms everyday.

3 Eylül 2021 tarihinde giriş yaptık otele, internet sitesinden rezervasyon yaptırdık. Resimlere aldanıp genel açıklamaları göz önüne sunup gittiğinizde hayal kırıklığına uğrayacağınız bir yer. Ekonomik oda diye seçtiğimiz ancak gittiğimizde tanıştığımız kompakt oda diye bir tabir adı altında sundukları oda bile sayılmaz derecede korkunç bir yer. 10 M2 diye yazıp 6 M2 bile olmayan yangın merdiveni boşluğunda olan bir alan yataktan başka alanı yok tuvalet banyo diye koydukları minicik lavabosu iki eli almayan bir yapıda. Duş başlığı zaten kırıkti tuvalet banyo dedikleri alanın kapisi yok mikadan paravan koymuşlar, odada su ısıtıcı diye bişey yok, saçınızı başınızı düzeltecek bir aynası yok, duştan sonra kuruyacak bir kurutucu yok havlular eksik. İnternet var denilip full görünen internetin kapalı olması, kahvaltı var diye ilerleyip en son kahvaltisiz resimlerdekinden apayrı bir odayla otele girdiğinizde karsilacaginiz bir yer, balayı için gittik ancak bir gecemiz kayıp, soğutma diye vantilatör var o kadar komik ve korkunç bir durumduki o fiyata başka yerde çok güzel şartlar vardı ancak resimlere aldanıp tercih yaptık çok pişmanız,otopark var deniyor ancak otelin önünde yola bırakıyorsunuz zaten mahalle insanlarda koyduğu için otopark sorunu yaşayabilirsiniz. Bize ders oldu burayı kesinlikle tavsiye etmiyorum.neyseki bir gece için tutmustuk ve sabah erkenden terk ettik zaten. Her detayı en ince ayrıntısına kadar sorup öyle rezervasyon yapın resimlere aldanmayın kesinlikle, paranızla rezil olmamak paradan ziyade en güzel zamanlarınızi kötü anlara dönüşmemesi için daha dikkatli seçimler yapın.
