It was a good experience overall, but it lacks in quite a few arras to be a true 5 star hotel. The hotel for me is a 3.5, but the experience is a 4. The first thing that bothered me was the false advertising of two indoor pools. The non thermal one is actually located in the medical centre and can therefore not be used by normal guests. The only pool that is not thermal is outside and is so cold (not more than 20 celsius) that it’s impossible to swim in. The spa center is otherwise pretty good. It consists of indoor and outdoor spa pool that is also a mud bath. It’s also great that the outdoor pools are of various temperatures and you can go from moderately hot to really hot. The food is ok, a lot of variety and local food, but you have to come early, otherwise the good stuff is already gone and they don’t refill it. This goes for breakfast and dinner. The mezes were really good every time, also the side dishes but the main courses, especially the meat, disappointed, which is peculiar for a country like Turkey. The staff could also be more friendly. For example, the spa center is supposedly open until 10 but they close it 15 minutes earlier (the clock is also turned ahead) so it is almost impossible to get your stuff if you left it inside. The last negative thing that I would point out are the extremely thing walls. You can very loudly hear other people snoring, talking, watching tv and ever water in the pipes moving. What really improves the experience is the location. The town Denizli is actually very lively and full of locals with a lot of options for food, cafés and shops with summer clothes. Access to Pamukkale is also really easy, you just take 4tl bus from the town bus stop to Pamukkale (10min drive). You also have to be prepared to be surrounded by mostly Turkish tourists, differently form the resorts, which means that there isn’t this typical over the top politeness and hospitality.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Pam Thermal Hotel, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every aspect, making my stay truly memorable. First and foremost, the thermal facilities at the hotel were outstanding. The rejuvenating thermal baths and spa treatments provided a truly relaxing and soothing experience. It was the perfect way to unwind and escape from the daily hustle and bustle. The hotel itself was beautifully designed and maintained. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The attention to detail in the decor and furnishings added a touch of elegance to the overall ambiance. What impressed me the most was the exceptional level of service provided by the staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The staff members were friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. Their genuine hospitality made me feel welcomed and valued as a guest. The dining experience at Pam Thermal Hotel was equally impressive. The restaurant offered a wide variety of delicious dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients and presented with finesse. The flavors were exquisite, and the attentive staff made dining a pleasure. In terms of location, the Pam Thermal Hotel is situated in a serene and picturesque area. The tranquil surroundings added to the overall tranquility of the stay, allowing me to truly relax and rejuvenate. Overall, I highly recommend the Pam Thermal Hotel for anyone seeking a luxurious and rejuvenating getaway. The combination of exceptional thermal facilities, beautiful accommodations, outstanding service, and delightful dining make it a top choice. I look forward to returning to this haven of relaxation in the future.

I recently stayed at the Pam Thermal Hotel in Pamukkale, and while there were many positives, there were also some drawbacks. One of the main issues was that a significant portion of the staff does not speak English, which can be a challenge when trying to communicate, especially for ordering at the restaurant. However, the staff is very kind and does their best to assist, which makes a big difference. On the positive side, the hotel itself is beautiful, with well-maintained facilities. The pools, both the regular and the thermal pool, are lovely and offer a great place to relax. The rooms are charming and pleasantly cool, which is a relief in the summer heat. However, the bathrooms are somewhat dated and could use some renovation. Another highlight of the stay was the buffet, which was abundant and offered a great variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. One thing to note is that the hotel is not very close to Pamukkale’s main attractions. To visit the travertines and the ancient city of Hierapolis, you’ll need to take either a bus, with the nearest stop being a 10-minute walk away, or a taxi. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall experience was enjoyable, thanks to the hotel's amenities, atmosphere, and friendly staff.

We Were Scammed and Held Hostage – Avoid This Hotel!

We had an incredibly distressing and shocking experience at PAM Thermal Hotel that we feel obligated to share so that other travelers can avoid the same.

During our stay, we availed of extra services that amounted to TRY 4,550. Aware of this pending payment, we proactively went to the reception four separate times on the day before check-out, asking to settle the bill. Each time, we were told “you can pay during check-out.”

When we went to pay at 2:20 AM on the day of our departure (we had an early bus to catch from Denizli), the night manager suddenly informed us that the card machine was not working. This was clearly not our fault, and we expressed that to him. What followed was completely unacceptable and borderline unlawful.

The manager refused to let us leave the hotel. He withheld our ability to call a taxi, despite knowing we had a critical bus to catch. He kept saying “wait,” but clearly made no attempt to help us, and deliberately avoided booking the cab he had earlier promised.

We tried booking a cab ourselves, and even contacted a driver we had used previously, but the manager tried to block the driver from picking us up. We were stuck, helpless, and delayed because of this absurd behaviour.

In the end, we were forced to pay in Euros at an inflated rate, just so he would allow us to leave the premises and catch our transport. It felt like we were being extorted.

This experience was traumatic. We were made to feel like criminals when we had done everything right and had tried repeatedly to pay on time.

Absolutely disgraceful customer service. This place might look appealing in photos, but the management’s behavior was unprofessional, aggressive, and manipulative.

We do not recommend PAM Thermal Hotel to anyone. There are better and more reliable places to stay in Pamukkale where you will be treated with respect.

Your “system disruption” does not justify holding guests hostage.

We completely reject your vague apology. A temporary system issue does not give you the right to keep guests from leaving, refuse them transportation, and treat them like thieves or prisoners — especially after we had made multiple attempts to pay in advance.

We even offered to pay online, and you had all our booking and personal details. Yet, instead of helping, your staff intimidated us, delayed our journey, and forced us to pay in Euros at an inflated rate just to be allowed to leave.

This was not a “negative experience” — this was the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had, and it felt like extortion. Your apology is inadequate, and your handling of the situation was completely...
