One of the worst hotel experiences I've had.
The hotel is located right next to a wastewater treatment facility, and unfortunately, sewage flows directly onto the beach in front of the hotel. The smell is overwhelming, especially when the wind blows toward the building — it’s absolutely unbearable at times.
Although the rooms have been recently renovated, there were cables hanging from the ceiling, no wardrobe (just a small shelf), and our balcony had a broken safety railing. There wasn’t even a table on the terrace.
Housekeeping was non-existent. The cleaning staff never cleaned our room, and the towels and bedsheets were not changed even once during our stay — completely unacceptable for any hotel, regardless of category.
As for the food — breakfast was acceptable, but dinner was a major letdown. They served each guest whatever they had prepared, with no options to choose from. Not even a drink was included. My last dinner was a dry, overcooked chicken steak with fries and plain spaghetti — no sauce, no seasoning. Completely inedible. Dessert was a bland starch pudding. Not once did they serve anything traditional like baklava or tulumba, which you’d expect from a hotel in this region.
The beach was the dirtiest I’ve ever seen. The sand was full of cigarette butts, trash, broken glass, seaweed, and debris. No one cleaned the beach area even once during our stay.
To make things worse, in the evenings stray dogs and cats would lie on the sunbed cushions, which were left outside all night. I even cut my foot on a piece of glass, and walking barefoot felt unsafe. There were no trash bins on the beach, which only added to the mess.
