One of the loveliest hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I was on a 3-day business trip in Konya and chose to stay at Novotel and it turned out to be the perfect decision. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the wonderful team. The reception staff spoke English fluently, were incredibly kind, and always ready to help with anything I needed.
The hotel itself is cozy and comfortable, with spacious rooms and a great location close to downtown. Getting a taxi to and from the hotel was effortless, making my stay even more convenient. What truly made the difference, though, was the atmosphere, so warm and inviting, thanks to the amazing staff who were always smiling and attentive. When I asked for drinking water in the lobby, they immediately brought it over with genuine kindness.
A special shoutout to the kitchen team, especially Berfin, a lovely waiter, and Emir, an intern who was so eager to help. Even late at night, when I wanted to warm up my food and asked for a plate of plain rice, they went out of their way to assist me with such warmth and care.
It’s these little gestures that made my stay feel so memorable. I truly couldn’t recommend this hotel enough, it’s a place where you’ll feel well taken care of from...
Read moreThe hotel is located at the center, which is very convenient if you will be staying in Konya for some time. That said however, when there is an influx of travelers from tours, the elevator line gets very long and will take you about 10-15 minutes waiting for a lift. Not sure how this is a 5 star hotel because the breakfast and dinner areas are cramped; you will either have to go down for breakfast very early or wait until there are hardly any people left. Seats are on a first come first served basis and most of the time, you will be seated with others on a long table. The rooms are alright, just enough space and comfortable enough. BUT, you can quite literally hear your neighbors next door (that includes talking, toilet usage, etc) so it would be hard to sleep at night if you neighbors are particularly noisy as the walls are thin. The bathrooms are quite small but manageable. Experience...
Read moreNo one will be able to relax and unwind in this place. Loud music is played in the hotel on the 4th floor until 1am. And the fact that we were on the 7th floor did not save us, the music was just blaring. At 11 o'clock in the evening I called the reception to ask when the music would be turned off, the manager replied that at 12 o'clock. My husband and I had to go down to the hall and sit there until 12, because it was impossible to stay in the room. At 12 o'clock the music was not turned off and when we approached the manager, it turned out that he had lied and the music would be turned off later. As a result, the disco club ended at 1 am. A lot of people come to the hotel for this disco, i.e. there are a lot of strangers in the hotel. The room itself is in need of renovation. There are no dressing gowns or toiletries. However, the price of the hotel is...
