I and my wife stayed in Likya Inn for 8 days and were very satisfied with our experience. Prices for transfer and meals were reasonable, location – remote, beach - wild and very little people around – exactly as we wanted. The Inn situated on ancient Likya road and we could see trackers everyday waking this picturesque path. Nights were silent, sky filled with hanging low stars and Moon. Only household dogs barked sometime, chasing away wild animals. Morning begun with rooster’s songs, but the sunrise is impossible to observe, because hotel is the shade of mountains and first sunrays touch this valley after 8 am. Days were filled with heat and aroma of coniferous trees. The mosquito body repellent is very essential, if you want to enjoy evenings and nights outside of protected by mosquito nets rooms. There are 12 rooms and 4 floors with common balconies and terraces. And the view on sea is from all of them, except the ground floor. The meals were homecooked by a Turkish family, that lives and works in the hotel, and for a week we didn’t eat same soup or main dish. Taking in account we are vegetarians, it was significant effort. Food was tasty and ingredients sourced locally. Nearest supermarket is in 10 mins drive and nearest market is in Karadere in 15 minutes. We went there once to buy more fruits. The beach is stony and swim shoes are essential. The nearest sand beach is in Karadere, it is long, but locals lettered it and we had to walk away from the entrance about 15 minutes to be in clean surrounding. There are dunes and free walking cows, the sand is grey and forms a crust, so it is not high quality. Hotel has a good Wi-Fi and you need to use Google translator to be able to communicate with hotels staff. Only the owner of the hotel Hamish (Hussain) speaks English and does it fluently. Hamish is always at hand to advise and assist, you can hire a car or a scooter from him or join an excursion as he has a travel agency too. Hamish is very warm and relaxed person. He has a lovely family and their co Just have your credit card ready as debit card is not good for...

But there are two wild beaches (coral shoes is highly recommend), and both are amazing. The path to the both beaches is pleasant and lies through the garden and takes about 10 minutes slow pace.
Views. Each room have sea view. Terrace where you will have a meal also have a seaview. You literally can seat on the couch in your number and see amazing sunset.
Food. The turkish breakfast is tasty and satisfying, it's included. Other meals are paid but they worth it, I highly recommend to try lunch or dinner at least once. It's local homemade food, simple but natural and delicious, we was felt in love with Turkish cuisine thanks this place.
People. That's latest by order, but not by meaning part. The people are the gold of Likya Inn. Starts from owner and ends of guests. The owner Hamish himself, his family and workers are trully friendly, kindly and nice people. We felt ourselves like at home and even better. But I warn you - you will miss them as soon as you leave the hotel.
General. My points are 100 of 10, that's my the best experience of hotel staying which I have ever had. Please be sure that you are understand the specific of the place before booking. Be respectful to the nature and to the people there and I hope you will...
Read moreComing down from the Lykian Way from Bel and seeing the beautiful blue on white "Lykian Inn" sign is an amazing sight. I instantly knew that I would stay there, especially when you see the view the rooms have overlooking the Mediterranean sea. And my instincts were spot on. Hamish and his family proved exceptional people and great hosts. They helped to an amazing room where I witnessed the sunset from my sofa, which was perfect after a long hike. The dinner that they served that evening was unlike I have had in a long while. A perfect mix between homemade and cuisine. The facilities in the room were all that you need and the open view made it look enormous. The breakfast, before heading back out on the trail was exactly what I needed. A great Turkish breakfast with surprising flavors.
The story of the hotel itself is worth the listen to, as it is a real family story.
Whether you walk the Lycian Way or just need a relaxing stay in a beautiful area, then I cannot recommend the...
