What an incredible place for a vacation! Absolutely recommend the Meridian at Pine Cay. Our trip was flawless thanks to the fabulous staff. We even had a wrench thrown in right before we left (my husband broke his ankle) and were still able to enjoy our trip thanks to the last minute help of Kirk & Maureen, who secured a wheelchair, put a ramp at our room entrance, and got us a seat for the shower. So thankful! We thoroughly enjoyed the island: the beach is breathtaking, the ocean breeze, the flowering vegetation, the stunning rooms, the friendly staff, the delicious food, the relaxing spa. We met so many other guests who were so friendly & welcoming— they just came up and became our friends & gave us the scoop about Pine Cay. We had a seamless trip from airport to resort, the people we came into contact with were so helpful! My favorite part is the beach, which is stunning; the sand is soft like sugar, the water is turquoise & crystal clear, and you can wade far out and still touch the bottom. It almost always feels like you are the only person there, which is intoxicating. Other highlights were the dining; so many scrumptious meals by Chef Carlos, and they even packed us a lunch for our fight back! The spa, let me just tell you, do not leave this place without meeting Anix, she is a magician. My husband literally felt no pain on his broken ankle for 1 blissful day after his massage. The front desk staff of Lexie & Samantha— what gems. They were so kind and easy to love. Some incredibly kind touches- there is bug spray in your room (SO nice, you’ll need it), there is a beach bag available that was really helpful in taking your things to your tiki, and cute water bottles that made staying hydrated at the beach possible. We loved it so much we already booked our next trip— this will be the first time we’ve repeated a location for vacation.

If you’re looking for a relaxing, low key paradise, this is the resort for you. This is the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen. Crystal clear turquoise water, beautiful breeze, stunning sun sets. From the time our plane landed, we were taken care of by Pine Cay and their incredible staff. Rooms are very nice, pool area is quiet and pristine. Food is gourmet. People are so friendly. Being a private island, most times you have the beach to yourself. It will take your breath away. Highly recommend for mother daughter trip, sisters, couples. Golf carts are provided to explore the island. This is truly a dream vacation if you’re looking to unwind. I can’t say enough great things about Pine Cay. It was hard to leave. Thank you for an unforgettable holiday.

I’ve been coming to Pine Cay since I was a toddler and it is an incredibly unique place. You’ll be the only person on the beach for a mile, you can see more stars that most places on earth, the staff and accommodations are wonderful and the setting is unbeatable.

We just spent five days and nights in paradise, aka the Meridian Club on Pine Cay. We were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary, and all of our expectations were surpassed. We stayed in one of the luxury beachfront cottages, Sand Dollar. The cottage layout was perfect with a beautiful ocean view but also maximum privacy and seclusion. The beach at Pine Cay is almost too beautiful to describe. We thoroughly enjoyed the white powder sand and the beautiful, clear, calm turquoise waters. Snorkeling down the endless, mostly secluded beach allowed us to collect dead sand dollars and many beautiful shells and also see marine animals including a large, live conch, a stingray, and other fish. We also enjoyed other activities offered on the island including paddle boarding, a massage at the spa, bicycle riding, discovering places on the island with the golf cart (such as the "aquarium," where we enjoyed feeding a variety of fish from a rocky overhang perfect for viewing) snorkeling the reef, and deep sea fishing (which is only a short boat ride away from the marina at the island). The staff was extremely attentive and helped us feel safe on our private excursions. Sherwyn taught us how to paddle board for the first time in the ocean and stayed close so we felt secure with the current that day. Boat Captain Elvardo snorkeled with us at the reef and showed off his large lung capacity by swimming down and around the corral and pointing out much marine life to us while Toto made sure the boat was never far away. Elvardo and fishing guide Oliver made a great duo on our deep sea fishing excursion and made sure we caught some fish. Chef Carolos worked wonders all week long and even cooked the mahi-mahi that we caught on our fishing trip for our dinner. The food was amazing throughout our stay, and we looked forward to our three gourmet meals everyday, especially the desserts. The wait staff did a wonderful job serving our meals and fulfilling any and all requests that we had. Jaheim and Maureen were there to greet us when we first arrived at the marina and the Meridian Club respectively. They made sure that everything went smoothly during our stay and were genuinely concerned that we were having an excellent time. I could go on and on but I think you get the point. The Meridian club is a truly special place in one of the most beautiful settings. We plan to return...

I am currently staying here at Pine Cay - we leave tomorrow. I thought I'd take a moment to write a review before "real life" takes over. I have had the great fortune of staying in some of the best hotels in the world and this place beats them all by a mile. It's intimate - if you are looking for a party each night, this place isn't for you. But if you want to find a place with the most beautiful beach front rooms (almost all are the same so no fretting about which room you get), impeccable service (food, activities, housekeeping-ALL of it) and an experience of being truly taken care of, then this is the place for you.

The people here -- they are all so warm and welcoming. This is the first five-star resort where I haven't seen a manager walking around trying to take charge of the place. EVERYONE here seems equal and equally interested in you and knowing what you need.

Also, this private island is perfect. There's a cove to look for sea turtles, another cove to hop in a glass bottom kayak and look at the fish. A daily snorkeling trip out to the third largest barrier reef in the world. They give you golf carts and/or bikes to explore. Oh, and there's one-person spa in which I had the best massage of my life.

This is the first review I've ever written and probably the last. I hesitate to share this place with the world but the people that work here deserve it. They've created a real gem. This is the kind of place you only hear about. So come see if for yourself. And know you will meet a truly extraordinary group of people. I'd name them specifically but I know there are also many I don't see who make it all work. Thank you. It's been a healing...
