I stayed for 7 nights and paid AUD132/night. Staff: services always come with smile and everybody is friendly. Thank you!
Room: spacious with AC but far from clean. Coming to a sticky and smelly floor on the first day. At certain hour in the evening 2 little mice start running around, I used cockroaches spray to keep them away around my bed - at least. On the next day, nobody’s coming to clean the room or change the towels/sheet. I dont mind using towels multiple times, but at least I need the room to get cleaned. Apparently, cleaning schedule is once in 2-3 days. Starting on Day 3, water dripping off my bathroom ceiling. I informed the cleaning lady but she only replied yes, no more comments. Looking at the stain on the bathroom ceiling, seems that the leakage has been there for sometimes.
Food: breakfast option is limited to cereal/bread/pancake. We need to pay separately for eggs (AUD 2/egg). Fruit and veggie are super rare.
Laundry: On that 2nd day, I also asked for laundry as I went through multiple transits and connecting flights, I had 3 pcs of clothes for laundry but the clothes did not come back until the 5th day + multiple reminders.
Internet: wifi is only accessible in the lobby
Overall this is clearly not worth the price, but considering limited options for accommodation in the island I would say it is...

A$5 per day.||Arrived after a storm to find balcony door wide open and room floor flooded. Later other leaks showed so expect room floor still gets wet in rain. No hot water even though there is a hot tap so guessing hot water system failed but not replaced. Told no rooms have hot water. Communication by phone and email with hotel to book was very difficult and yet now seeing that normally one or two staff are at the front desk left me wondering why they never answer phones or emails. ||Bed and pillow comfortable.||Hotel is very close walk from airport however it was raining on departure so asked for the hotel bus which failed to arrive as the driver would not answer his mobile and went off doing something else.||We booked to have dinner at the hotel restaurant only to be told at 7pm they didn’t know if the chef would be coming so 7 of us went to 3Ts and had an excellent meal. These sort of experiences you can expect as a tourist in Tuvalu. If the hotel want to improve the guest experience and get more bookings they need to attend to...

However, it was packed when I arrived in Funafuti on 15th December 2019 - Surprisingly crowded. ||The reason was Pacific Forum Leaders Meeting (PFLM). All the government heads from Pacific region, including the PMs of Australia, New Zealand, PNG, Fiji, Solomon, Samoa, Tonga, Vanuatu, Kiribati, etc. with big delegations, including foreign ministers and high level officials, were in 'Tiny Tuvalu'. Dozens of diplomatic crews and media people from around the world were here. ||The week was surprisingly busy week for all Tuvaluan. However, the next week was normal 'travelersless' again. A week long holiday was declared by the Government, thanking all officials and people of Tuvalu to make last week's PFLM a grand success. ||Things become normal for Tuvaluans. The hotel rooms are getting empty. The menu and food variety available in the country was shrinking day by day. ||Anyway, the PFLM gave a big boost to the tourism industry in Tuvalu. However, maintaining that is challenging. Let's hope this hotel and tourism industry in Tuvalu will get new...
