Keba Xpress Hotel and Restaurant Entebbe — Hotel in Entebbe City

This is my second visit to their restaurant. Previous visit was with a group of friends when a live band was playing. It was good. This time on a Sunday evening, there were only few couples at the table sipping their drinks. The staff must be jaded and tired after the busy Friday and Saturday nights that they were very slow to respond to customer requests. My friend ordered Mushroom cream soup and Irish. The soup portion was very little - like a kid’s menu. The potatoes were cold and very bland . The salad had no flavour- not even vinegar. I ordered Chicken curry and Chappathi, the portion was ok, but the curry was too salty. Overall not the best of Sunday outing .. hope they improve service and food...

I spent a week at this hotel, their services are very good , this hotel felt like home, they took care of me and made sure I was comfortable, the room was very clean and organized, the location is very fantastic , being located along Entebbe road made it easier to head to the airport, avoiding all traffic, they have shuttle to pick up and take me back to the airport , all services are in one place, restaurant, saloon, supermarkets, washing bay , well stocked bar space for parties, catering services, bakery . Worst hotel stay in a very, very long time. Maybe ever? I think most of the hotel staff genuinely wanted to be helpful, but the room was crazy loud, full of mosquitos, lacking a lot of basics (soap, trash bin, hot water, internet), and the whole thing was capped off with someone (the hotel manager or receptionist?) changing our bill after the fact by subtly marking a new amount on the bill. They tried to charge us nearly 4x what we were supposed to pay. It was such nightmare and put a huge downer on the trip....
