What a blessing it was to stay at the Golden View Hotel in Ibanda, Uganda.| I was part of a team of 6 from America to lead an Anglican Cursillo for the Diocese of Northwest Ankole. We stayed at the Golden View for 11 nights and held our 3 days of meetings with 40 men & women in attendance, in conference rooms at the hotel.| The friendly, courteous staff was perhaps the 1st standout that we appreciated. From arriving to some fresh juice, to the service getting our bags to our room, the welcome was sincere and, for our group of weary travelers, such a blessing. | The food service staff was especially attentive, and the food was abundant, and excellent to our western palates. Requests were promptly attended to. Shout-outs to Maureen, Gracious, Tempo, Godfrey, Phil, and others among the food service staff.| Our rooms were excellent for our needs. Any concerns were immediately addressed and remedied. I heard no concerns from the attendees who also stayed in the smaller rooms. Shout out to Grace and her housekeeping staff.| For the 3 days of Anglican Cursillo meetings, we called on the staff several times to help in reorganizing the conference rooms for our changing needs. Their help exceeded what we asked of them.
