We came here with a large group for lunch one day. The space is nice. We sat out near the garden. There are tables indoors and outdoors.||||The service is painfully slow, even for local standards. Even our Ugandan colleagues were complaining about how long everything took. Once it finally did come out, the food was good for the most part. Our group ordered vegetable stew, chicken stew, a chicken platter, gigantic fish platters, and veggie burgers. The veggie burgers were so salty that we couldn't eat them, but everything else was good and the portions were very large.||||I was given a tour of the hotel rooms. They looked comfortable, so if I were in the area I would definitely consider staying there (we were staying in Jinja this time). I also got to see the new rooms, which are under construction. They are lovely! ||||In terms of amenities, the hotel seemed well equipped. It has a gym and sauna, which is nice. The gym seemed decent, with a few treadmills, stationary bikes, and weight machines. Just avoid the restaurant unless you are...

No problem with insects or noise mentioned by others. We found the staff friendly. The food was a buffet of Ugandan dishes, maybe not catering to all tastes, but good if you like it.||Making the stay difficult, however: The facility and many details have been neglected. The purported free wifi worked only in common areas of the hotel, not in the rooms. There were no clothes hangers in the room. Some rooms had air conditioners and TVs; some do not. Some that have them did not work. The bathroom and bathtub needed repairs and some new fixtures. The swimming pool had many loose tiles and gaps on the floor. The pool water was over-chlorinated, but neither clear nor clean. The pool had not been vacuumed. Breakfast tea/coffee water also had sediment at the bottom.||The grounds and bar areas offer pleasant spaces, but the dining room is dark and arranged like a school dining hall with rows of crowded long tables. Good management and investment in a handyman and some basic maintenance could improve this hotel and bring it to...
