After our time in Kampala, our next destination was Jinja, where we checked into this hotel for one night. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at ease. The rooms were clean, nicely arranged, and offered a unique sense of comfort that helped us unwind after a long journey.
Though the hotel is located along a rough and untidy road, what it lacks in location it makes up for in service. Inside those walls, we experienced kindness, care, and genuine hospitality.
The service was excellent. The entire team, from reception to the kitchen, was incredibly humble, respectful, and attentive. Although we didnāt get the chance to try lunch or dinner, the breakfast we had was well presented, fresh, and truly delicious. It was served with care and felt thoughtfully prepared.
We would especially like to express our heartfelt appreciation to two outstanding members of the staff, Joseph and Swabura, who left a lasting impression on our team.
Joseph, who works in the kitchen, was the one who served us during breakfast. Though we only stayed for one night, his charm and friendliness stood out. He was cheerful, warm, and so engaging that we even took photos with him. His energy brought a joyful start to our day, and his kindness did not go unnoticed.
Swabura, the receptionist, was the definition of humility and professionalism. She didnāt just handle check-in. She went above and beyond to support our group in every way. At one point, she personally helped mobilize our team to leave their rooms on time, ensuring we didnāt delay our schedule. Her willingness to assist, even beyond her formal role, made a huge difference and truly touched us.
As the team from Rwanda, we were genuinely honoured to be served by such remarkable individuals. Sometimes itās difficult to express gratitude in full, but we hope this message serves as a small token of our appreciation. Joseph and Swabura, your dedication and heart will not be forgotten.
We look forward to coming back, and we will gladly recommend your hotel to our friends, family, and colleagues visiting the Jinja region. Thank you for the care, the smiles, and the memory you gave us in...
Read moreWe loved staying here for a few nights. The zeptan is on the outskirts of Jinja so not perfect but a pretty good location where you are in the city centre in 5 minutes for about £1. Joseph (a local member of staff) was really helpful and showed us around the area, for example taking us to the source of the Nile and helping us to get reduced prices. As well as this he showed us round the nightlife in Jinja, which was class. We played football with the locals at the pitch by the hotel. The rooms were great and had TVs with YouTube and Netflix. The restaurant has a big tv with all the sport channels which was nice to watch the football. As for ablutions, the toilets do everything you would expect, as does the shower - but nothing extravagant. Overall we are really glad to have stayed two nights rather than our expected one and would...

It is a more remote area of Jinja but it's safe and calm. Definitely recommend getting grilled fish in...
