CUSTOMER BE AWARE! Privacy concern at Lemonade Hotel.
I recently on 26- May- 2026 8:05pm visited Lemonade Hotel in Mutundwe for dinner with my girlfriend, and unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. While the food was just bearable and certainly not up to the standards one would expect, it was an incident involving one of their waitress (brown lady not that’s tall) that truly ruined my evening!
When I walked to my vehicle to pick cash to clear our bill, a waitress approached my girlfriend and asked for her phone number, which had been requested by another male customer a one ‘Hon.Moses’ according to her. This customer had promised the waitress money in exchange for my girlfriend's contact information. When I returned from the car, I found her pleading to my girlfriend to read before I come back! Steadily holding her pen and little piece of paper, she kept on insisting as my dearest girlfriend informed her that she had a boyfriend! Once I approached the counter, she panicked and folded the paper and run off. My girlfriend told me what happened in the last 2 minutes and I couldn’t believe it! This behavior is not only highly unprofessional but also invasive and disrespectful.
A dining experience should be comfortable and enjoyable, free from such inappropriate and intrusive conduct. The management needs to address this issue urgently to ensure the privacy and respect of their guests are maintained. Hotel Lemonade is absolutely lovely. I especially loved the views I got of the city both in the morning and at night. From my room, the blend of the sunrise and sunset with lights from the city is absolutely stunning. The food was great. The service too was good but could be better. They have a gym and a sauna too.
