Henotes is a nice guesthouse in Kamuli. It is outside of the city center, so walking into the city is not a good option. You will be dependent on a driver. Besides that Kamuli is not really a touristic city like Jinja.
At 10PM the guard dogs get let out, so you are pretty much locked in after that time. That does not affect you so much since you cannot do much in Kamuli at that time anyways anymore as a muzungu tourist.
