Nice genuine place at a great location!
This place is very nice, the food is great, service is beyond perfect! I just stayed here for 2 nights but it was a very nice experience. Tents have a lot of space and the are clean, if it is cold there is a hot water jug service. The showers are nice and hot! Meals are great here and nicely prepared! Enough hot drinks and enough other choices :-) One thing that I also loved is the Chameleon hike with a guide named: Savio. He starts at 16:00 and take as much time as you like. He can lean you a lot of the local communities and if you are lucky you can see some Chameleons. I had the luck that some local kids showed up with a beautiful male! If you have time meet the local kids and listen to there songs, maybe bring them some thing like a book, pencils or drawing books, I did not bring it but they will love it! I'll have to come back to this area and the Broadbill Forest Camp will be my choice to stay for sure!
Thanks to all the staff for my great experience and all the beautiful memories!

Read moreThis hotel is a little paradise, tucked away in the equatorial forest. Both the safari tents and the two-story wooden structure housing the reception, lobby and dining room are superb, comfortable, warm and tastefully decorated. The monkeys, birds and squirrels that can be seen and heard from the terrace of your own tent are an unforgettable sight and sound. The meals provided on a half-board basis are good and very hearty, although nothing very special either. The hotel staff are very polite and friendly.
Minor drawbacks: 1- There is no internet connection outside the main building, and even there, the connection is scarce and fluctuating. 2- The hotel management only accepts payment in cash, despite the fairly high cost of overnight stays. 3- Lighting in the tents is fairly limited at nightfall and would benefit from being enhanced by one or two lights above the bed,...
Read moreThe lodge has a really beautiful garden. No, actually it's a park. A lot of plants, tress and flowers. The Colobus monkeys can come by at any time. But be careful of the ants that sometimes walk on the paths. It was a painful experience with the little beasts.
The tents are spacious and nicely decorated and we enjoyed the feeling of sleeping “outside”. Showering, like everywhere else, is a bit difficult because it is difficult to find a good comfortable temperature.
Service and food are very good. It is possible and inexpensive to have your clothes washed, although it was very rainy when we visited (January). We couldn't dry the clothes, but thats life. Wifi only at the reception, but when no guests are around, they switched it off. When you arrived as first, ask the staff to switch it on.
We really enjoyed our stay and would like to...
