We reserved the top-tier cave villas and were disappointed to find them poorly maintained with visible lizard feces everywhere. Despite efforts to enhance our experience, the service lagged far behind the hospitality standards of neighboring countries like Kenya and Tanzania. The special services offered, including a stroked evening and a dinner setup, were underwhelming and not worth purchasing.
The quality of service was extremely poor, especially considering the $400 USD per night cost. The perceived value of the services provided was negligible.
Additionally, we were advised to plan further travel with Mrs. Thembo, who turned out to be untrustworthy. After some changes to our itinerary, we were promised an $800 USD refund which we never received.
This experience was disheartening, as we had expected honesty and reliability based on their recommendations. As a seasoned traveler across six continents, this was my first encounter with such widespread dishonesty in a country. From the time we were picked up by the manager Joseph who has been very caring and professional to all the amazing stuff who welcomed us with very good customer service and care.
