I travelled to this hotel on the 30th of October and was booked for 3 nights checking out on the 2nd of November 2023. I stayed in room 504 and every thing was in perfect functional state. I had warm baths all the time, my lighting was fine, WIFI connectivity was good, the intercom worked fine and the housekeeping did a commendable job on a daily. The reception staff was very cheerful and professional while attending to me and the restaurant staff was very attentive and helpful every time i went there to have my meals. Ruth, Flavia and Steven at the restaurant stood out and food was very tasty and fresh. My best dish was chicken tikka...oh my God, you need to taste this one when you visit the hotel. The entire reception team headed by Barbra was amazing. Cleopatra who welcomed me with all smiles and checked me in, to Yusuf and Aloysius, i can only say thank you for making my stay memorable and worthwhile.|Chris the general manager ensured that i was as comfortable as could be all the time.|Finally, the ambiance, lush gardens and the green all around just brings back life to every tired and broken soul.||I totally recommend this hotel to everyone travelling and planning to stay in Masaka whether for business, holiday or otherwise, it offers value for your money and much more.||Thank you Garden Courts Hotel Masaka, I will...
Read moreAs a former resident of Masaka, I can accurately say this is probably one of the best place to stay. It is very quiet, unlike several hotels near an all-night disco and well kept. The service is very good and a good shower. The garden setting is very relaxing. The location is away from the main area of Masaka (reason why it's quiet) but close enough to get downtown easily. The cottage rooms are on the small side and the cost is low. Other larger rooms are available at a higher cost (hey, you get what you pay for). There is also very good wifi in the rooms (very unusual in Masaka). There is also a TV in each room but watching TV is not recommended. All the rooms have a full on-suite. The included breakfast is reasonable though it may not be up to what North Americans & Europeans are used to so be prepared for a more African spread. There are also a couple of "nice looking" hotels to avoid as they are grossly exaggerated in...
Read moreA very run down hotel with poor service by any standards. The reception was very slow and when we did get allocated a room I was placed in an area that was being renovated. I had no hot water and when I asked for another towel...1 was provided but no face towel or floor towel, I was told no as only one towel allocated per single room. The restaurant service was very slow and the food was of an acceptable standard at best. They wanted to charge 10000ugx for some milk to go in my coffee?? The room was clean and comfortable but very basic and very noisy throughout the night with other guests and dogs. Would not choose to stay here again. One credit however is the bellhop...very friendly...
