We were in the new hotel over Christmas 2022. We received a very friendly welcome and everyone was very helpful. Our cottage was very nice, nicely furnished in the style of Ugandan tradition. Everything was very clean, the grounds were lovingly landscaped. The breakfast was good, although not quite so for European guests. Hints were immediately accepted and implemented a short time later. The service was very courteous. The view of Masaka is wonderful, especially in the morning it is wonderful to have breakfast outside. Many kind regards to the management and Emma. After eating there yesterday on 24.12.2024 and 1 week before, I feel compelled to write a review about the kitchen there. The week before Christmas I ordered a whole tilapia there. This was by far the driest fish I have ever been served. Ok, that can happen. But when I went to eat there yesterday and only ordered fries, it was so bad that I now have to write something. When the waiter lifted the cover off the plate you could smell the razzia odour from afar. Fries fried in old rancid fat, disgusting. What's more, the mojito cocktail we ordered was blue and disgustingly sweet. For me it was the last time...
