Martin is a wonderful host, who took great care of us during our week in Mbale! He helped us every day with transportation. We had an omelet breakfast every day, long evening chats and really a wonderful week. Thank you Martin for making our stay very enjoyable. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, with good mosquito nets, a television with international news and clean personal bathroom. The water pressure was a bit up and down, which is tricky with very long hair (as I do) but when we mentioned it Martin did work something out to improve the pressure and temperature greatly! Spotlessly clean, incredibly helpful and friendly staff and a generous breakfast of fruit, omelette and bread if required. Drinks are available in house at very reasonable prices and they even cooked a fabulous meal for us one night as well. As host, Martin will try to help with any questions you have. A delightful place to stay. It's a bit out of town if you don't have your own transport but that also makes it quiet and peaceful. His guesthouse is comfortable and clean, and very good value for money.||||Martin was kind enough to run us into town and pick us up in the evening, for a small fee to cover fuel costs. This means you don't need to hire a car or risk your life on the Boda Boda motorcycles.||||Water pressure on the low side, but the showers are clean.
