Makanhill Resort Hotel — Hotel in Mityana

Good place to stay; good value for money! Clean rooms, good food that didn't take long to arrive. Impressive Maître d' had his house in order. Very responsive to our needs too.

Lesser facts: no brewed coffee at breakfast, but Nescafe and otherwise reasonably varied breakfast.

The instant heated shower worked well, but the shower head was a bit low for me, requiring a bit of Lambada ;)

Really good bed and beddings.. however not all bed bets could close completely, so we used some small pieces of tape (Safety pins would also do the trick ;)

very nice place and what I loved the most was the workers over there. they were so nice especially Allen I would definitely be coming back to this place. The chef was very nice any time I wanted my fruit or anything else to be cut he was willing to do it, and the ladies who served us food every time were honest and kind. workers over there will ask if our room needs to be cleaned without me asking them. Overall I did not suspect anybody with a bad attitude everyone was very welcoming with a smile on...

The accommodations here are clean and comfortable and the grounds are lovely. You can see a lot of beautiful birds (Hornbills and Turaco) while hanging out comfortably in the courtyard. This is a good venue for a conference or event or if you are passing through. The staff are courteous and professional. There was bottled water provided in the rooms.
