Wow, Entusi has blown me away by all measures. Came to Bunyonyi at night, and the staff picked me up by boat. It was a crystal clear night and I could see the Milky Way. It felt surreal. At the resort, I stayed at Tent 3, which had a very nice view the next morning. I went went bird watching with Bright (he's really knowledgeable!), and had great conversations about community development with Raymond, Hannington, Gilbert, and many others. The GLI, the organization that runs Entusi, runs many programs for the community around the lake, such as swimming lessons for the children, school boats so they can attend school, a model farm to train sustainable farming practices, and many more. Dining and cleaning staff are so attentive and kind, always happy to talk and spend time with you. Bright is an amazing logistical wizard for all things related to the lake. He has patience and care.
