My wife and I stayed here for a night prior to gorilla trekking. The place has fantastic views and seems very peaceful. The turndown service was appreciated and the hot water bottle in the bed a welcome addition. Rooms were a little basic but had everything we needed and we very well kept. The food we ate was pretty good, and the service great. To be fair in our experience of Uganda the service was great everywhere and people very friendly. We did manage to get out and about in the local village which I'd recommend, this will give you a lot to think about particularly with regards to the orphanage. We would certainly recommend gorilla mist camp if your planning on trekking..

Gorilla 🦍 mists camp is a great eco friendly place with a special theme, the closeness to the Ruhija gate sector makes it one of the best places to stay if one is doing the gorilla 🦍 tracking next day(7 minutes away). It’s also next to the community which makes community walks ideal as an added activity. Accommodation rates are of great value and… The rooms are warm and cozy and this helps especially with the low temperatures (12/13 degrees Celsius), and WiFi connectivity is good. Staff are friendly and the food is great.

One of my favorite stays during my Ugandan safari. Close to the Ruhija sector of Bwindi, so you stay here for the gorilla trekking. Views from my room (and shower) were great, along with the terrace. Food was solid. Was a little chilly at night in July, so I can imagine it can get colder at other times of the year since it is at elevation. There’s a nice fireplace inside though. Grabbed a Bwindi t-shirt from here for a good price too. Eco-friendly and sustainable lodge, which is always nice to see.

We stayed for one night at Gorilla Mist Camp and I wish we could have stayed longer since our stay there was perfect! We were warmly welcomed when we arrived at the camp. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The gave us the niecest introduction including some hot towels and a welcome drink. What a beautiful gesture! Our room was beautifully equipped, spacious and very clean. We even had a bathtube! A bathrobe, a bunch of towels, complimentary water and a pretty flower set up were only a few of the details that makes Gorilla Mist Camp better than other camps. Even hot showers are available! The Camp is peaceful and quiet and nicely located in Bwindi Nationalpark. It comes with a great view that you can enjoy from your very own terrace in front of the room. Every night they light a little fire in the reception/bar area which makes it very cozy. It

s a good place to hangout, read, catch up on your social media or socialise with other travellers. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the camp and can only recommend it. The dinner was a three course meal of high quality and huge quantity! Also breakfast offers a wide variety of food, coffe or tea and fresh juices. I can only highly recommend staying in Gorilla Mist Camp if you

re in the area! Also recommend it for a couple of days since there are many activities in the community besides the...

My girlfriend and I stayed at Gorilla Mist Camp in September, and it was a wonderful experience. We booked two nights at the lodge and organized the gorilla trekking directly through them. The booking process went smoothly – communication was professional and helpful from the start. Especially in the days leading up to our arrival, we had regular contact with the team to ensure everything was ready for the tour.

The lodge itself offers breathtaking views, and the rooms are spacious and well-equipped, making it a comfortable base for our adventure. The food was delicious, with a variety of local and international dishes, and it was clear the staff took pride in offering quality meals. The team at Gorilla Mist Camp was exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ensuring that we had everything we needed. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, which added to the warmth and charm of the stay.

The highlight of our trip was, of course, the gorilla trekking. It was well-organized and an unforgettable experience, allowing us to get close to these incredible animals in their natural habitat. We highly recommend Gorilla Mist Camp – booking both the stay and the trekking directly with them was an...

As most people who will visit this lodge, I spent the night here preparing for my gorilla trek the next morning.||||The lodge is quite basic, but offers everything you could need. Keep in mind that Bwindi Impenetrable NP is quite a bit higher in altitude than the rest of Uganda, and that means you will experience colder temperatures during the night here. Luckily, the lodge offers additional blankets and a nice hot water jug in the bed.||||My room was perfect to spend a night filled with expectations for the next day. It’s not a luxurious experience at all, but nothing was missing. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and there's coffee and tea available throughout the day.||||I can recommend Gorilla Mist Camp for people who are scheduled on a gorilla visit. Don't forget to enjoy the mesmerizing and unforgettable views over Bwindi...
